Part I: Free talk

Where did you live What did you do
Did you buy anything Were there a lot of people
Part II: Review the Story time of Unit 3.
Step 1: Show the first picture.
T: The students came back to school after the National Day holiday.
Where did Liu Tao go for the holiday
What did Liu Tao do there
Did he see any interesting things
How was his holiday
Show the second picture.
T: How about Mike
Where did Mike go for the holiday
What did they do on the farm
Did Mike catch a big fish
Why did Mike call Liu Tao
Where was the fish at last
Step 2: T: After class, Liu Tao wrote about his National Day holiday.
1. Show Liu Tao’s essay.
My holiday
I went to Shanghai and visited my aunt for the holiday.
We went to the Bund and visited the Shanghai Museum.
I saw many interesting things.
It was great fun.
2. Show the writing tips.
(1) The title should be put in the middle.
(2) Each paragraph does not need to be indented.
(3) You can put an empty line after each paragraph or not.
Step 3: T: If you are Mike, how will you write your holiday
Try to write Mike’s essay.
Choose some students to read their essays.
Part III: Practice

Step 3: 1. Show the essay and explain it.
7 days in Japan
Last summer holiday, I went to Tokyo with my colleagues.
On 17th August, we went to Disney Sea by bus. We watched The Adventures of Sinbad and Aladdin and His Lamp.
The next day, we visited Tokyo Sky tree which is 634 meters tall. There were many beautiful aeolian bells. From the window, we could see many students playing football on the roof.
After that, we visited Edo-Tokyo Museum. There is a large wooden bridge inside the museum. We saw models of towns and buildings from the Edo.
On the 5th day, we went to Toyota Motor Show. We saw many fashionable cars and tried to drive some of them.
It was great fun.

Revise your essay and write it beautifully.
