Unit8 At Christmas(Story time)教学设计
一、教材分析:
本课教学内容主要围绕圣诞节展开,学生对这个节日并不陌生,本故事按照时间顺序展示了Mike一家如何过圣诞节,通过学习能进一步让学生了解圣诞节的时间、地点、人物以及所开展的庆祝活动,并能让孩子进一步感知西方的文化风俗习惯。
二、学情分析:
五年级的学生活泼好动,对新鲜事物感兴趣,而正好本课接近圣诞节时间,比较应景,因此要在课堂上积极地为孩子们创造合适的语言情景,进一步激发学生的求知欲,在教学设计时,可基于学生已有的生活经验出发,通过各种各样的媒体方式,学生对这个节日或多或少已经有了一定的认识,在文本故事中学生会从过节的风俗习惯方面感受东西方文化的共同点与不同点,开阔眼界。
三、教学目标要求:
1.能在教师的指导下进行自主互助式学习,通过略读、寻读等阅读策略有步骤地阅读和理解故事内容。
2.能在故事情境中听懂、会读、会说以下词汇:Christmas, presents, Christmas tree, Father Christmas, pretty, thing, Christmas Eve, stocking, wait for, turkey, pudding, have a good time。
3.能理解并初步运用buy, put等动词及短语描述圣诞节的有关活动。
4.能理解并按照时间的先后顺序初步运用副词:first, next, then, finally。
四、教学重点及难点:
教学重点:能理解并运用表示时间先后顺序的副词:first, next, then, finally。
解决措施:学生通过discuss and match后,通过同桌讨论后,教师提问:How do you match the sentences with the pictures 让学生自己用中文回答出如何配对的并利用画笔工具让孩子自己圈出表示时间顺序的副词,通过自主解决及讨论的方式更好地理解时间顺序副词。
教学难点:能通过自主互助式学习方式和略读、寻读等阅读策略理解故事内容。
解决措施:高年级story time教学要注重教学策略及阅读习惯的培养,从听说读写四个方面展开教学活动,通过递进性的阅读活动,首先,watch and circle,整体感知圈出圣诞节相关的物品;listen and order,了解故事大意,排列故事发生的顺序;discuss and match,通过jig-saw reading。

设计意图:通过Discuss and match,学生能根据自己的理解自主建构故事,建立语言和情景之间的联系,内化语言学习策略,有效地培养了学生的观察和思维能力。学生在进行小组讨论的过程中,自己合作解决问题,培养了学生的小组合作能力。
