Picture Composition
（看图作文）--Keep our city clean教案
一、教学内容
本教学设计师译林版小学六年级学生练写得一篇英语小作文。用英语简单介绍如何保持城市干净，并结合实际，写一写自己的做法。
字数要求：不少于5句话。
二、教学目标
1.知识与能力目标
培养学生初步写作能力，学会叙述身边的事。培养学生基本的造句能力，掌握一些固定的英语表达能力。
2.学习策略目标
学会小组合作交流，提高英语写作能力。
3.情感态度目标
通过这一写作，培养学生保护环境的意识。
三、教学重难点
1.学会用英语叙述周围的事情。
2.使段落和句子前后连贯，相互呼应，有一定的逻辑性。

五、教学过程
Step1.Lead-in
1.Play a game“Be a good doctor”.
T:Look at this picture. From this picture, this class we’re going to learn something about composition.
板书：composition
Do you like writing the composition
Most of us don’t like. Because it is difficult. But as a student, we should learn how to write. Do you want to write a good composition
This class we will learn how to write a picture composition
Keep our city clean.
2.T: Is our city dirty
What makes our city dirty
T:Look at these pictures.
Smoke from cars black smoke from factories rubbish
Ask students to describe these pictures.
3.T:A correct sentence is very important in a composition. How to write a correct sentence Let’s watch a cartoon.
4.Take out your paper and try to finish “what makes our city dirty”.
5.T:You have a good job. Because our city is dirty, so we should do something. What can we do to keep our city clean Look at these pictures.
Take the bus or the metro walk to school plant more trees
Move some factories away from our city put rubbish in the bin
Ask students to describe these pictures.
6.Show other pictures :sweep the floor …
Let’s finish “what can we do to keep our city clean ”.
7.T:The last step is Combination. We should Write the topic and Paragraph.
