Leading-in( 1’) Greeting. Lead in and warm up .
Step I Pre-writing(9 ’) 1.Show some pictures to get Ss review some phrases and sentence structures in this unit.2.Show an article , and let Ss read freely. Review the phrases and the grammar “be doing” .Get Ss to analyse the structure of this article and lead them to write composition into three paragraphs.
Step II While-writing(18’) Show the writing task and let Ss read the requirement.2.Give Ss 18 minutes to write their composition. Ask Ss to read the topic carefully.
Step III Post-writing(12’) 1.Students check their compositions by themselves by using the marking ladders.2.Students check their compositions by their classmates by using the marking ladders. 3.Choose one composition to share in class.4.Emotional education5.Summary Ss check by themselves,and they can learn to correct their mistakes.Ss check other’s composition and give the scores ,so they can learn from each other .Ss can learn the excellent compositions from their classmates.Get Ss to help with the housework in their free time.Help Ss summarize how to write and correct their compositions by using the marking ladders.
