教学目标:
1. 学生能正确熟练运用be going to的用法,并能运用be going to表达自己将要做的事情,初步感知will 的用法。
2. 通过本节课的学习,阅读并完成Su Hai的回信,并能熟练运用将来时。
3. 学生通过Culture time了解西方国家的节日及其英文表达。
4. 学生用正确的英文电子邮件的格式,并运用格式写一封电子邮件给自己的朋友,介绍my plan for Chinese New Year, 并能运用一般将来时的问句及其回答来进行问答。
教学重点:

教学过程:
Step1 Greeting:
T: We have learnt Unit 8 Chinese New Year. We know something about Chinese New Year.
T: Brain storm. Say some phrases about Chinese New Year.
T: Chinese New Year is coming. What are you going to do at Chinese New Year
Choose and say. Make some sentences.
Each student says one sentence.
e.g. : I am going to ----
We are going to----.
Tips: Simple Future Tense(一般将来时):
be going to …
Step 2 Presentation
T: We are going to do a lot of things at Chinese New Year.
Ann is excited about Chinese New Year. She writes an email to her e-friend Su Hai. Let’s retell her plan for Chinese New Year.
2. Finish the passage, then check it. Tips: be going to = will
3. Grammar time.
4. T: Anna and Su Hai are e-friends. Su Hai was nice to get the email.
Now, Su Hai is writing back to Anna. Let’s help her complete the email.
T: This email is about Su Hai’s plan for Chinese New Year.
5. T: What is Su Hai going to do before Chinese New Year (on Chinese New Year’s Eve, on Chinese New Year’s Day, on the second of Chinese New Year )

Step 3 Consolidation
T: We have known a lot about Ann’s and Su Hai’s plan for Chinese New Year. It’s time to show your email about Chinese New Year.
T: Let’s enjoy.
Ask some questions about emails.
e.g. : What is ---going to do at Chinese New Year
Who is ---- going to visit
What is ----- going to eat
What food is ----going to make
What places is ---- going to visit
T: Boys and girls, your plans are wonderful. I think you will be very happy at that day. Do you want to know something about my plan
T : A letter for you. Read and answer the questions.
T: Check the answer. Can you ask some questions about it
Can you give it a title “Linda’s plan for Christmas”
T: Different countries have different holidays and customs. Chinese New Year is the most important festival in China. We also call it “Spring Festival”.
T: What holiday is the most important holiday in the UK Let’s enjoy it about Christmas.
T: Thanksgiving is a very important holiday in the US. Let’s read about Thanksgiving.
Step4. Homework:
Finish the email.
Surf the Internet and know a lot about the holidays.
Share your plans to your friends and family.
