一、教学目标 1、语言目标
(1) 知识内容:单词:
actress, charming, educational, science, tragedy, documentary, comedy, ending, drawing 短语:would rather… than… play Chinese chess in one’s spare time
(2)目标:能够根据上下文猜测词义;能够在具体的语境中认读单词;能够主动对单词进行归类识记单词。
2、能力目标:
(1)能借助图片等预测信息,听懂有关电视电影的英文对话。
(2)能够使用口语或书面的方式描述所熟悉的电视节目或电影
(3)用不同的方式在口语交际中表示自己的喜好。
(4)能在问题的帮助下完成有关电影描述的短文或能用所学知识介绍电影内容。
3、情感目标:
(1) 培养学生独立自主学习的意识。
(2)激发学生学习,使用英语的兴趣。
二、教材分析:科普2011版九年级下册Unit 6 Topic 1 Section A
本节课为该话题的第一节课,以Michael和康康关于中国象棋的对话开始,通过个人爱好的谈论引出关于电视节目的中心话题,讨论了各类电视节目以及电影的内容,在谈论的同时表达各自不同的偏好和爱好。学习用prefer和would rather… than…等句型来描绘自己偏好的节目。
三、教学重点难点
1. Words and phrases: actress, would rather...than...,ending 2. Sentences:
1) I hear that you can play Chinese chess very well.
2) In my spare time, I prefer watching TV, especially TV plays. 3) —I would rather watch sports shows than those ones.—So would I.
4) —Which kind of program do you prefer, TV plays or sports shows —I prefer sports shows.
四、学情分析
英语学习氛围缺乏,导致大多数学生对英语缺乏积极性,平时没有养成良好的学习习惯。学生成绩两级分化严重。 五、评价任务
(1)使学生可以熟练掌握问答方式的主要用语。
(2)使学生熟悉生词,并能在课文的朗读音频中增加对课文的了解。
(3)掌握本节课的重难点知识。
(4)通过练习巩固本节课所学内容。
六、教学过程
Step 1 Getting ready for class
设计目的:引起学生注意,通过齐唱歌曲,激活学生的语言准备。
教学活动:1、师生相互问好
2、看视频the sound of music 唱Do Re Mi 3、两人一组,了解课余时间的活动
T:Class begins. Good morning, everyone. Before class, let’

T: Good. Why did they sing this song
S: Because their mother was died and they were very sad.
T: This song is so lively that it helped cheer them up. Sometimes we may feel nervous, tired or unhappy, and these feelings are bad for us. So we can listen to music to relax ourselves. We have many other activities to do in our spare time, too.
