Step 1 Grammar ：连词and，but，or，so的用法
1.连词and的用法。
(1)and可以连接语法作用相同的词、短语或句子，表示并列或对称的关系，意为“和、并且”等。 eg：Tom and Mary go to the park every week.
（2）表示动作或事情发生的先后关系，意为“然后，随即”
E.g：She came in and sat down
（3）表示补充说明，意为“而且”。
eg：There have to be some decisions made，and soon.
（4）and常用在come，go，try等动词后连接另一个动词， 表示目的，意为“为了”。eg：Come and meet this family!
（5）表示顺承的结果，意为“便；于是”等。
eg：She could not find her mother and began to cry.
2.连词but的用法。
（1）but连接的两个成分，可以表示转折或对比的关系，意为“但是；可是”。
eg：He is young but very experienced.
（2）not...but...不是……而是……
eg：What I want is not this one，but that one.
3.连词or的用法。
（1）连词or意为“或者”,表示选择关系。
eg：Do you often go to school on foot or by bike
（2）“祈使句＋or＋陈述句”句型中，or意为“否则”，祈使句相当于一个条件句，可以和if引导的条件状语从句进行转换。
eg：Put on your coat，or you will catch a cold.
（3）在否定句中连接并列成分时，用or，而不用and。
eg：I can't speak English or French.
4.连词so的用法。
（1）so用作连词，主要用于表结果，意为“所以”。
（2）so有时可与并列连词and连用，构成and so， 相当于so。
eg：He worked hard and so he succeeded.
（3）because和so不能同时用于一个句子中。
eg：He was ill，so he didn't go to school.
＝He didn't go to school because he was ill.
记忆法宝：and 顺承和肯并； 选择、否并、否则or;
but 用来表转折； so 是因此表结果。
(肯并表肯定句中的并列成分用and 连接；
否并表否定句中的并列成分用or 连接)。
