用法1：表示编号
名词+基数词=the+序数词+名词。
表示数量的多少用基数词，表示顺序的先后用序数词。

月份在使用时第一个字母要大写，和日期连用时也可用其缩写形式,五月没有缩写形式。

1.当商品为单数或不可数名词时，谓语动词用is，

2.回答时:it 代替单数或不可数名词，
they代替复数名词。

考点四:基数词、序数词的变化形式
one –first eleven-eleventh 基数词序数词的变化形式有一定的规律，变成序数词时一般在基数词的后面加-th，以-ty结尾的将y变成-ie再加-th常出现在考题中的序数词有first， second，third，fifth，eighth，ninth ，twelfth等。

考点五：基数词、序数词的用法
1.表示编号
名词+基数词=the+序数词+名词。如：
第一课 Lesson One = the first lesson
第二页 Page Two = the second page2路公车 Bus No.2 或 the No.2 Bus
有时可以直接用数字来表示。 如 Class 5, Room 206…
使用时要注意大小写。
2.时间的表达方式
1])接表达法。适合于任何一种时间表达方式。即钟点数+分钟数 如：
4：10-------four ten 4：36------- four thirty-six
2)不超过30分钟的用“past”。即分钟+past+钟点数 如：
6：30------ thirty-past six/ half past six
5：10------ten past five
3)超过30分钟的用“to”即“60-分钟数+to+钟点数+1” 如：
7：45--------fifteen to eight（a quarter to eight）
3：55-------- five to four
4)另外表示几刻钟常用“quarter”。
一刻钟 a quarter

两点一刻 a quarter past two
半小时 half an hour
一个半小时 one and a half hours

3.年、月、日的表达方法
首先要掌握12个月份的读法和写法。月份在使用时第一个字母一定要大写，和日期连用时也可用其缩写形式,五月没有缩写形式。

二月February(Feb.) 六月 June(Jun.) 十月 October(Oct.)

注意：
1.年和月连用时, 要将月放在前面,年放在后面,中间可用可不用逗号。
如：December 2007
2.月和日连用时，有两种表达方式。
如：8月28号 August 28读作 August the twenty-eighth
或 28 August 读作the twenty eighth of August
3.年、月、日连用时常在年前加逗号，介词用on。
如：在1989年9月28号 on September 28，1989
在2008年五月一号 on May 1，2008
