Step 1 Revision T: Today we’ll continue to learn Unit 1 (和学生一起读出课题：The king’s new clothes ) Let’s review the story .复述课文。 Step 2 Fun time 1．Talk about the picture. T: What are they talking about S: They are talking about the king’s new clothes. 2．Ask students to complete the sentences on the book . 3．Ask some groups to act the dialogues. Step 3 Grammar time 1. 课件上呈现书中第9页的句子，把其中的过去式重点读一读，理解并掌握一般过去时的语法规则。 2. 说一说下列动词的过去式，讨论动词过去式变化规则。 3. 总结动词过去式变化规则。 补充说明： 4）辅音字母+y结尾，改y为i +ed如：study - studied 5）重读闭音节双写末尾字母+ed 如：stop-stopped 4.注意过去式的读音：清辅音后面读/ t / ，浊辅音和元音后面读/ d / ，/ t /或/ d / 后面的读/ id / 5.Read and write. 请个别学生复述课文（讲故事） (Long, long ago, there was… He liked…One day, two men visited…The two men showed…The king walked…A little boy pointed…) 1）同桌讨论课本图片，完成句中省略部分所缺内容。 2）Check answers. 3）Read the dialogue together. 4）Say and act in pairs. 讨论动词过去式变化规则： 1）一般在动词末尾加-ed，如：look - looked 2）结尾是e加d，如：like - liked 3) 不规则变化，如：am, is – was are – were 1）根据所给的词完成空白。 2）Check answers. 学生再次巩固课文内容，为Fun time中表演对话作好铺垫。（注意动词的过去式） 学生分小组活动，进行角色扮演，可以增加自己想象的内容，使表演更加丰富。 学生通过讨论，形成一致意见，自我总结，自我归纳，充分培养他们的创新能力和良好的学习习惯。
作业设计 Step 4 Homework 1.背诵story time中的新单词、词组和动词过去式，准备默写。 2. Act out the dialogues in Fun time 3.预习Cartoon time.
