Chinese New Year is our most important holiday in China.Right Today we are going to learn unit8 Chinese New Year.Do you like Chinese New Year
I’ll ask you some questions about Chinese New Year.
①When’s Chinese New Year
②We also call Chinese New Year ________ .
③Look. What are they Cock, monkey and goat. It’s the year of ____ this year. It was the year of _____ last year. And it’s going to be the year of ______ next year.
④You know a lot about Chinese New Year. That’s good. But Can you say some customs (习俗）.

What does “fireworks”mean Yes, listen. Fireworks. There is a big fireworks display over the Harbor of Victoria in Hong Kong on the second day of Chinese New Year each year. It has been a fixed program for the people in Hong Kong to welcome the coming of Chinese New Year. It usually begins at about 8 o’clock and lasts more than 20 minutes. That’s also a different custom.
