Unit7 Protect our Earth (Period 2)教学设计
一、教学内容：
Grammar time, Fun time
二、教学目标：
1、复习story time，使学生能流利复述课文。
2、学习 should/should not的用法
3、能学会运用 use…to…句型
4、通过做画册、演讲等活动，使学生明白我们应该保护地球的道理。
三、 教学重难点：
1、学生能正确掌握should/shouldn’t的用法。
2、学生能灵活运用use…to…句型
3、开展做画册、演讲等活动，使学生明白我们应该保护地球的道理。

Step1 Revision
Let’s talk : Retell the text
根据表格来复述课文
Step2 Presentation & Practice
1．Let’s learn
根据复述课文，出示书上grammar time 中的use...to..句型
2.Read the sentences.
3. Find the rules.
T: What else do we use them to do
学生活动：根据所示图片，选择正确的资源，用use...to...造句
T: Just now you made a lot of sentences with “ use...to...”. How to use “use..to...” Try to find the rules.
学生活动：根据例句，寻找规律。
4.Try to use
T: Great. Can you use it Let’s check. Look at these two words. Can we use “use...to...” to make a sentence （提供water--sit)
T: Do we use water to sit
T: We use water to water trees. Wood comes from trees. We use wood to make chairs. We use chairs to sit.
学生活动：模仿老师的示范展开发散性思维，进行造句练习。
5.知识拓展： Do you know
T: We use these things every day. But do you know... （播放录音并呈现一些图片和数据，告诉学生地球上的水、煤炭、石油、树木还能用多少年）
T: What should we do
S: We should love and protect our Earth.
6. 过渡到should/shouldn’t句型
Read the sentences and find the rules.
学生活动：观察句子，寻找规律。
7. Try to use.
同桌合作，运用We should... We should not...描述图片。
8.Show a picture of rubbish, What can we do
引出“变废为宝”的做法，渗透“reuse”，引导学生欣赏图片，并学会用Reuse…to…来造句。
Step3 Consolidation
1.Summarize
T: Today we talk about why to protect the earth and how to do it. What can we do to make more people know it
(Make a picture book or give a speech)
2．Make a picture book together.
学生活动：根据图片并合作完成。
3. Give a speech
学生活动：根据示范，完成演讲稿并展示。
Step4 Homework
1.Give a speech to your family members.
2.Turn trash to treasure at home.
