【教学目标】
(一)知识目标
1.学生能初步能理解并且会听、会说、会读和会拼写单词及词组:cloudy, rainy, sunny, windy 和会运用句型:It was sunny / cloudy / windy / rainy。
2.学生能初步听懂并且会说、会读单词show, interesting, weather, high, honey, ant, bee, cloud, sky, rain。
3.能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型It was sunny/windy/rainy/cloudy in the morning. The weather became...We went to...It was time for...。
(二)能力目标
1.学生能初步感知动词过去式的不规则变化及读音。
2.学生能初步感知天气表达的句型。
3.学生能够对英语书写日记格式有一定的了解。
(三)情感目标
能够在阅读过程中体验到阅读的乐趣。
【教学重点】

查字典将Word Bank中的单词的音标写下来,掌握其读音,为小组汇报作准备。

Play a game T: Pick three cards and make new sentences. For example, it was sunny, I flew kites in the playground. S1: It was sunny, I played basketball in the playground. S2: It was windy, I flew kites in the park. Step 2. Presentation and practice 1.show a picture T: This is Yang Ling. She likes drawing and writing diaries, too. 出示日记抬头部分 T: How to write a diary We need three parts, the date、the weather and the special things. T: This is a diary of hers. What a day! What day is it today Sunday What date is it today 20th September(9月20号) 渗透英文日记的书写格式以及如何朗读日期。 引出课题Unit 2 What a day! T: Let’s learn more about Yang Ling’s diary. (1)T: What’s the weather in Yang Ling’s diary (Watch the cartoon and answer the question) S: It was sunny at first, then it was windy and cloudy. It was rainy at last. (2)T: What did they do S1: They went to the park and saw a parrot show. (欣赏鹦鹉秀的视频) S2:They flew kites. (3) T: How about their lunch S: They brought some dumplings、bread、honey and some drinks. T: Could they eat their lunch S: No, because there were some ants and bees on the bread. (4) T: What do you think of their day Ss; It’s happy/ terrible/ interesting… (引出课题What a day) 4. Play a game: quick respond. 在此过程中复习本单元动词过去式的特殊变化形式 go→ went see→ saw become→ became fly→ flew are→ were 5. Pay attention to the logic of the sentences. 注意句子的条理性。 先让学生欣赏一首关于天气的歌曲,熟悉有关天气的表达,更好地激发学生的学习兴趣。 我设计了一个有趣的游戏,让学生选三张卡片,一张是天气,一张是动词词组,最后一张是地点。让他们组成新的句子,这能让学生更好地了解动词的过去式,为本单元的学习做铺垫。 这是一个复习旧知,引出新知的环节,运用孩子们熟悉的中文日记来了解英文日记的写法。只要学生勇于表达,都应给与鼓励和赞扬。 学生可能对日期的表达20th September不太理解,从学过的序数词1st,2nd,让学生大致了解序数词的缩略形式以及日期的表达。 通过观看卡通来了解课文中天气的变化,教授生词sunny, cloudy, windy, rainy。再拓展几个新单词fog-foggy、snow-snowy,最后让学生总结名词变形容词的规律。有些表达天气的形容词是由名词+y构成。 教授动词go、 see、fly的过去式。 教授parrot show,我通过两个鹦鹉秀的视频来让学生更直观地了解鹦鹉秀的表演。 引出课题时让学生猜猜What a day!的含义,让学生大胆猜想,教师暂不做评论. 这是理清课文内容的重要的环节,可以让学生在小组内完成,划一划再说一说。让学生互相帮助,加强合作学习。 提示学生可以利用板书进行总结。 因为这一句是感叹语,需要与前后文相连来理解意思。可以是糟糕的一天,忙碌的一天,累人的一天,倒霉的一天等等。但是肯定这一天是要让人难忘的! 从天气变化到事件变化再到他们的心情变化,学生理清文章脉络,做好批注,完成读书笔记,学会阅读,体会阅读的快乐。 学生可能会用错时态,提醒孩子们要用一般过去式,并在课上给一些范文让学生参考。
