教学目标:
1.知识目标:
(1)能听懂、会说、会读Pandas eat for 12 hours every day.
Do snakes like music
(2)能听、说、认读部分的故事,并回答文后问题。
2.情感目标:
(1)进一步提高学生对英语的学习热情及学习兴趣。
(2)鼓励学生积极主动参与课堂活动,大胆开口,主动模仿。
(3)通过本课的学习,培养学生团结合作,学会和谐相处的品德。
3.能力目标:
引导学生积极参与小组活动,促进他们养成动脑、动口、动手的好习惯,初步形成主动学习的意识。
教学重点:
1.新单词: believe lucky bamboo CD-ROM copy
2.在真实的情景中运用所学知识,实现能力的发展。
Step 1: Warm up
1. Tell the students to get ready tow pieces of paper.
2. On one piece of paper, ask them to draw a happy face and on the other piece of paper, ask them to draw a sad face.
3. Now tell them that you are going to call out the names of things and thy have to decide if they like or don’t like them, by holing up the sad face they should say ‘I don’t like it!’
Example: T: (points to a student) football!
S1: holds up the sad face0i don’t like it!
T: (point to another student) Snakes!
S2: (holds up the happy face) I like it!
Now, extend the activity by introducing ‘I love it’.
Step 2: teacher-student interaction
1. listen ,point and find ‘say, eat, love, look at and think’.
A. Tell the students to close their student’s books.
B. Tell them to listen to the recording and write down all the animals they can hear in the recording.
C. Now ask them to open their student’s books and read the dialogue aloud.
D. Then invite two more able students to come up to the front of the class and carry out the role-play without looking at their student’s books.
2. ask and answer in pairs.
Questions: do you like … (snakes/noodle’s/pandas/football/rice/fish)
B、Then, invite two students to conduct the following role-play. Write their names in the boxes.
Step 3: Classroom tests
talk about you and your partner.
1. After doing activity 3, invite students to come up and report on their findings.
2. Example: I like pandas. Wang Wei doesn’t like pandas. I don’t like football but Wang wei likes football. We like rice!
Step 4: Homework
read the dialogue.

2、Believe or not:T:Today is festial。 Yes or No You can answer . I don’t believe it ,并出示手势,领读T: The Great wall is short , 试着让学生来判断,接着说:The Great wall is long S: Yes .引出 I believe it 。教师做手势(∨×)。学生说英语,引出词卡believe,让学生了解会认读believe。

Animal name .
1、T: They are small. They’ve got small ears and they can play with children. What are they Guess. 让学生猜.

Yes, they are dogs.出示画面引出dogs,同样引出elephants. snakes.边出示S: What are they T: They are dogs /cats/owls.
2、I like pandas .I can talk about them. Listen:出示画面,What do you love 出示They love——引出bamboo 一词。强调重音在第二音节。操练bamboo.
3、学习love 、like 、sleep in the winter , play with children..用简笔画形式引入短语。Chant操练。
4、You say I guess.
你说我猜,猜出是哪个动物,They are bamboo . What are they They are pandas.教师示范。Work in pairs.同桌问答。
