Part One Analysis of the Teaching Material
(一)Status and Function(Teaching contents)
This is the fifth lesson of the unit.This lesson aims to introduce the use of ‘and\but\or\’,verbs+’to’-infinitives,and reflexive pronouns. It’s very important and difficult.From this, Ss can also extend their knowledge.Therefore this lesson is in the important position of the teaching material.

Step1.Lead-in
Help the Ss to recall the passage by filling in the blanks with the correct words to lead into the new lesson.
Step2. Presentation
1.Help Ss to find out the rules of the conjunctions ‘and,but&or’.I can write down these rules on the Bb.
2.Present more exercises about the usage of the conjunctions ‘and,but,or’ to master the use of them.
3.Ask them to complete the exercises on page46-47,then check the answers.
4.Present some questions on the Bb to introduce the use of the infinitives,and help them remember them.
5. Guide Ss to go through the models in part B on page47,then ask them to make new sentences with the infinitives.
