My favorite book is Ｔｈｅ Ａｄｖｅｎｔｕｒｅ ｏｆ Ｔｏｍ Ｓａｗｙｅｒ by Mark Twain.
Tom is a lively and clever young boy, and he finds himself in many exciting adventures.
Once, he ran away with his two friends, Hunk Finn and Joe, to an island in the middle of Mississippi River for several days. And everyone thought Tom was dead. Tom decided to go to his funeral (葬礼). He hid (隐藏) and watched for a long time, and then suddenly he appeared. Everyone was surprised to see him but they were also pleased to see him alive.
Tom is the hero of the story, Huck is an outsider and everyone is afraid of him. Becky is pretty with fair (金黄色的) hair. Joe is Tom’s best friend. Joe is the bad man of the story.
The story is mainly about children growing up. We can see American culture in the book. Finally it talks about freedom, social (社会的) rules and how people are punished (惩罚) for bad behavior (行为).
