Unit 7 Protect the Earth
（Grammar&Fun time）教案
教学目标：
1.能简要复述story time内容，知道如何保护地球；
2.能听得懂、会说、会读、会写句型与日常用语We use … to … ；
3.能用We should …. We shouldn’t …提出自己的建议，敢于发表自己的观点；
4.学生能用reuse…to…句型思考资源如何再利用并介绍自己的废品制作。
5.学生能树立起“节能环保”的理念，并为此行动起来，做一位环保志愿者。
教学重点：
1.能简要复述story time内容，知道如何保护地球；

Before class:Enjoy a video
Step1.Review time
1.Brain storm
T:Our earth is beautiful,right (欣赏美丽的地球图片集)
But,in fact,so terrible. (观看地球污染图片集)
So,what should we do (引导学生回答课文4大标题：save water/save energy/save trees/Don’t …)
2.Retell each part
T:Great!Let’s try to retell the text part by part.(根据PPT提示复述每一部分内容)
3.30s-non-stop-talk
T:We know how to protect the earth,now,let’s have a pk game between boys and girls.let’s see the rules.
★男女生PK，提出保护地球的建议。
★男生用We should…,女生用We should not…自由发表建议。
★时间各30秒，比比谁说的多！
T:Girls,you first.If you know,stand up.Ready,go.
Boys,ready,go.
Step2.Grammar time& Fun time
1.Find the rule”should/should not+do sth”
T:Good job!I also have some suggestions to protect the earth.Read after me.
We should reuse water.
We should write on both sides of paper.
We should not go to school by car.
We should use cloth bags.
T:We can find the rule”should/should not+do sth”.
2.To be a volunteer
T:We know how to protect our earth,we also should tell others to join us,right
So we need some volunteers!Look,I have three tasks for you, Imagine more/Create more /Show more.If you can pass,you’ll be a volunteer.Ready Let’s go to task1.
Task1 Imagine more

T:Look,Here are some pictures,we can use them to do many things.For example,we use water to clean desks,cook meals(让学生说一说)
T:Now,please choose one and talk with your desk mate,let’s see which pair can say more.

T:Well,this time,I give you a difficult one.Please try to imagine. For example,water→sit.
Now,please choose one and talk in four,everyone says one sentence,or say together.
(water→read/ wood→eat/plastic→go shopping)
Find the rule“use…to…”
Let’s read these sentences:
We use water to clean things.
We use plastic to make bottles and bags.
We use wood to make desks,chairs…
T:We can find the rule“use…to…”
Task2 Create more
T:Congratulations!Let’s see task 2.Look,I show these materials again,But this time,let’s try to create.How can we reuse these things For example,we can reuse water again and again.Here,”reuse”means use again and again.
Please choose one to create in groups.Group1,you choose paper; Group2,you choose plastic; Group3,you choose wood; Group4,you choose water.Let’s see which group can create more.
Task3 Show more
1.Show in four
T:You all have creative mind!Let’s go on,task 3.Just now,we knew how to reuse,in fact,we can reuse something waste to make “Waste Productions”.Look,I have some pictures about my “Waste Productions”.(介绍作品)。
I know you prepared some productions too,right Please show us.OK,I see, wonderful.This time,Please show each other in four,and choose the best one to show us,go!

1.write volunteer cards.

2.Share volunteer cards.
T:Are you ok It’s so easy for you ,right If you finished,you can share your cards with the teachers here,or you can stick your cards on the blackboard.
