一、教学内容:Story time
二、教学目标:
知识目标:
1.通过整体阅读、分段品读、寻找重点等方式来理解故事内容。
2.能听懂、会说、会读单词:ago, then, e-book , mobile phone , newspaper , radio ,anywhere。
3.学生能够初步了解过去时,并运用句型:…years ago, he/she…. Now he/she…
能力目标:
1.学会自己有条理地阅读,在阅读中掌握细节,找到相关信息。
2.能正确地理解并朗读对话内容,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。
情感目标
1.能够在故事中找到读书的乐趣,喜欢自主地阅读文本。
2.学会了解过去与现在的生活中的变化,体会时代在进步。
三、教学重难点:
1、能正确地理解并朗读对话内容,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。
2、能正确使用一般过去时和一般现在时表达过去和现在的事情。
四、教学过程:
Step1: Warming up
1.Quick response: (快速反应)生说出看到的单词或短语。(PPT快速呈现单词或短语)
2.Brain storm
T:Now, let’s use these words and phrases to make a sentence.
Pay attention to listen carefully. (PPT课件上呈现所有单词及短语)
Step2: Presentation
1.T: Look, this is my son. He’s Yoyo. He is six years old. This is Yoyo.
He likes playing with cars. He likes reading too. Now he can do many things.
Look!(ppt呈现) What can he do?
S: He can read books./He can run./He can play football…
T: Yes. Now he can do many things. But four years ago, he was two years old.
What could he do
S: He could eat./He could cry…
T: What couldn’t he do
S: He couldn’t write./He couldn’t…
T: So we can say, four years ago, Yoyo could eat, but he couldn’t write.
T: Boys and girls, please look at the two pictures.
The first one was four years ago. It was then.
The second one is now. (揭题 Unit4 Then and now)
2.T:Yoyo changes every day. Mike’s family changes too.
Do you want to know what changes are in his family
S: Yes.
T: Now let’s watch the cartoon and find the answer.
3. Learn more
① First, let’s learn Mike’s changes.
T: Look at the picture, six years ago, what could he do
S: He could read and draw.
T: What couldn’t he do
S: He couldn’t write.
T: What can he do now
S: He can play football. He can write./…
T: He can do many things. Let’s read.(跟录音读)
② Mr Brown ’s changes
T: What did Mr Brown do twenty years ago What does he do now Please listen.
(学生听录音,尝试找出答案并学习)
③ Grandpa and Mrs Brown’s changes
T: Now I want you to read the passage 3 and 4 by yourselves, discuss their changes , then underline them.(同上分别教Grandpa和Mrs Brown的变化)
④ Read after the tape

必做:1.Read story time twice. (模仿Story time语音语调读两遍.)
