一、教学内容:
江苏省《英语》六年级上册Unit 4 Then and now Story time部分和外研社阅读教材Early writings。
二、教材分析
本课通过Mike一家人生活、学习、工作等方面的纵向对比,巧妙地展现了人类在科技、物质生活、个人成长等方面的巨大变化。本单元是对之前几个单元所学的一般现在时和一般过去时的小结,以帮助学生系统归纳、全面梳理。
编者的暗示:1、对比变化以同一参照物更有说服力。2、表述发生的变化时,应关注随之发生的时态变化。
三、教学目标:
词汇:then and now, use, telephone, mobile phone, anywhere(三会)
ago, office (四会)
能较好地理解、流利朗读Story time第一、二段的内容,并能简要复述。
能借助于上下文,掌握阅读短文中的生词early days, letter, instead, symbolic, meaning, nowadays,并能掌握关键句型Instead of…, they would…的用法。
4、在阅读中,能快速分辨过去与现在两种不同的时态,并能较流利地叙述过去与现在的不同情况。
5、能借助本课所学知识,读懂Early Writings一文,并借鉴相应的学习方法提高英语阅读能力。
6、通过本课学习,在感受科技发展日新月异、物质生活突飞猛进的同时,增进家国情怀,立志成才报国。
