Helping your child choose a hobby is very good for him or her. Children can learn a lot when they are enjoying themselves. Here are some tips that may help.
Match your child's interests. If he likes to cook, buy him a cookbook. If he likes collecting baseball cards, buy him a special scrapbook. Show your interests to your children and support their interests.
Try different hobbies. Introduce a new hobby as a birthday or a holiday gift. By trying something quite different your child may become interested in it or at least get to know a new thing.
