结构：主语(第三人称单数) + 动词过去式(+其他).
eg: My mother went to the Great Wall last Sunday.
我的妈妈上周日去了长城。

But he's learning English now!
但是他现在正在学习英语。
结构：主语(第三人称单数) + is + (+ 其他).
此句为现在进行时的肯定句。现在进行时用于描述他人此时或现阶段正在做的事情。
eg: Linda is swimming now.
琳达正在游泳。
动词-ing

动词-ing变形规则：
一般情况下，在动词词尾直接加-ing；以e结尾的动词，去e再加-ing。
read—reading make—making
以单个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节动词，先双写末尾的辅音字母，再加-ing。
run—running swim—swimming
以ie结尾的动词，先把ie变成y，再加-ing。
lie—lying tie—tying
