Is Distance Learning Really Beneficial
With the development of the Internet, distance learning is gaining more and more popularity amongstudents. Many of them are addicted to online lessons. Is distance learning really beneficial
In my opinion, distance learning has some advantages. As we know, it is vivid and flexible because of video materials and adjustable schedules. However, its disadvantages should be equally paid attention to. Firstly, it isn’t suitable for students who prefer direct communication with teachers. Worse still, studying online too long greatly harms students’ eyes. So students should weigh the advantages and disadvantages and use distance learning properly.

I thought the story would end forever if I didn’t happen to meet him a few years later. I was invited tojudge a music competition. During the competition, a boy violin player drew my attention. From time to time he also had a look in my direction with a strange smile on his face. I was sure I must have met him before, but I failed to think of where and when we had met at the very moment. Finally, he won first prize because of his excellent performance!
A fter the award ceremony, he ran to me holding a violin box. With his face red, he asked,“Mr. Brian,do you still remember me You gave me your violin, which I have been treasuring until today! You can’ t imagine how much what you did that noon means to me! Today, I can give it back to you without regret...”Believe it or not. it turned out that, this boy was “Mr Brian’s nephew Rubens”! Tears welled up in my eyes.
