Step1: Warm-up
一、读一读,口译
1. That's the tallest dinosaur in this hall.
2. It's taller than both of us together.
3. How tall are you
4. I'm 1.65 meters.
二、读一读,写一写,译一译(给出它们的比较级)
1. thin ________ 2. heavy ________ 3. big ________
4. small ________ 5. strong______
Step 2: Presentation
1. 请两个胖瘦不一样的孩子到讲台上。
T: Who is thin S: A is thin.
T: Who is heavy S: B is heavy
T: Yes, A is thin. B is heavy. (板书 thin, heavy)
2. 选两个个子较瘦的孩子。
T: They are thin. Who is thinner S: A is thinner.
T: 板书thinner,提醒孩子们观察thinner的写法。再用相同的方法教heavier.
3. 选两个大小不一样的书包进行比较,引出big, small.
T: Which is the bigger schoolbag What color is it
Ss: The yellow schoolbag is bigger. (板书big-bigger)
T: Which is the smaller one What color is it
S: The red one. (板书small- smaller)
4. 做一个强壮的手势教strong,抽两个孩子做相同的手势比较,教stronger.
T: Ask one boy pupil: How heavy are you Help him answer: I'm 54 kilograms.
T: Oh! You are heavier than me. 板书教读。
5. 听录音。学生跟读。
