教学目标：
1. 复习、巩固本单元的四会词汇和句型。
2. 正确掌握、灵活运用be going to 的陈述句、特殊疑问句及其回答。
3. 了解东西方的节日文化，并乐于和家人朋友分享爱。
教学重难点：
1. 了解文本内容，灵活运用be going to 进行语言拓展。
2. 了解更多的节日文化。
教学准备：PPT、 图片
教学过程：
Step1 Warm up
1. Greetings
2. What are you going to learn this class
3. Review: What is Anna going to do at Chinese New Year
4. Have a talk:
What do people in Ru dong usually do at Chinese New year (Show the pictures)
What are you going to do
Step2 Cartoon time
1. I think you’re all happy at Chinese New Year. Look at Bobby and Tina. They are happy too. What are they going to do Guess!
2. Look at the pictures. Do you have any questions
3. Watch the cartoon and try to find the answers.
4. After watching, what are you going to tell us Please talk in your groups.
5. Choose one picture you like and read it with your emotion.
6. Picture 1 Who can read How are the dumplings
Picture 2 Learn the word‘rich’. They are rich. What are they going to do
Picture 3 Read the word‘hooray’.
Picture 4 What else are they going to say
7. Read or act.
8. At Chinese New Year, Bobby’s mother cooks dumplings. Bobby and Tina get red packets. They see Aunt Alice and watch fireworks. All these things are full of love.

1. Chinese New Year is important in China. What about Christmas and Thanksgiving
2. Christmas is the most important holiday in the UK. Chinese New Year is the most important holiday in China. Read the sentences, what can you find
3. Do you know more about the two holidays
4. On these holidays, people come back home and get together with families. They share love with other people.
5. Thanksgiving is a very important holiday in the US. Read the passage about Thanksgiving quickly. What do you know
