(引导学生说出他们所知道的节日名称,如“Chinese New Year春节”、“Halloween万圣节”等,烘托气氛,为感恩节的出现做铺垫。)
2.新课导入
(1)T: Today, we will learn a festival about Flag .
出示美国国旗,提问学生是否了解美国有一个关于国旗的节日(Flag Day, 6月14日)。在这一天家家户户都会悬挂国旗、唱国歌等。
(2)Look at the picture, and teach the new words and sentences.
a.教授新词Flay 运用以旧引新的方法来让学生自己拼读单词

直接通过图片出示重点新句型- What do they do on Flag Day
让学生通过猜图片来回答句型They fly the flag and sing songs.
(了解国旗日的特点,并且调动学生主动思考,主动解决问题的能力)
b.教授新词Thanksgiving Day
让学生理解Thanks + giving = Thanksgiving
(通过图片资料了解感恩节的习俗和特点,初步感知感恩可以在生活中的个个方面。)
