教师先请两名学生上台,给其中一名学生写有动词短语的小纸条,让该学生根据小纸条上的内容表演动作,另一名学生依次猜出动词短语。老师可多邀请几组学生参与游戏,最后看看哪一组在规定的时间内猜出的动词短语最多。

每一列学生分为一组,教师用句子“What did you do last summer holiday ”向每列的第一名学生提问,第一名学生回答后,继续向第二名学生提问。第二名学生重复第一名学生的答案并加上自己的答案,回答完毕后,继续问第三名学生。以此类推,看哪一组的回答正确且用时最短。
