描述某人过去和现在的不同
Before,主语+ was/were+形容词/名词. Now,主语+ am/is/are+形容词/名词.

句型呈现
①在英语中,描述某人不同时期的情况要使用不同的时态。
如果描述过去的情况，要使用一般过去时;如果描述现在的情况，要使用一般现在时。
②此句型的谓语动词是 be动词,be动词根据主语的人称和数以及句子时态选用。before 是一个表示过去时间的副词，意为“以前”;now意为“现在”,常用于一般现在时。
例：Before, he was short. Now,he is very tall.
以前,他个子矮。现在,他个子很高。

①当谓语动词是实义动词时，它的句型为: Before,主语+动词过去式+其他.Now,主语+动词原形/动词的第三人称单数形式+其他. before和now可以放在句首,也可以放在句末。
②当表示过去不会的能力和现在做对比时，它的句型为: Before,主语+couldn't(= could not)+动词原形+其他. Now,主语+动词原形/动词的第三人称单数形式+其他或can+动词原形+其他.
例：Before,I liked summer. Now,I like winter.
