Period 4 Part B Let’s learn,Look and say
本课时学习B部分的Let’s learn和Look and say 两个环节。Let’s learn主要通过图文学习四个动词短语:ate fresh food,went swimming,took pictures,bought gifts。Look and say以图文结合的形式呈现并通过描述男孩的假期生活,锻炼学生的口语能力,同时巩固Let’s learn所学词汇。
知识目标
1.能够听、说、读、写四会词汇:ate,took,took pictures,bought,gift;
2.能够用本课时重点词汇描述假期的生活;
3.能够根据图片描述男孩的假期生活。
能力目标
培养学生听、说、读、写的综合能力。
情感目标
培养学生合理安排假期时间的意识。
教学重点
能够掌握本课时重要词汇:ate fresh food,went swimming,took pictures,bought gifts。
教师先通过图片、实物或动作引出词汇,加深学生的理解,然后教读并示范书写,接着把这些词汇代入到句子中进行操练。
教学难点
能够在实际生活中灵活运用本课核心词汇谈论假期生活。
教师创设真实情景让学生编写对话进行练习,以突破难点。
多媒体课件、相机、小纸条。
Step 1:Warm up
1.教师播放本单元歌曲Tell me about your holiday,师生一起大声跟唱。
2.教师请一名学生参照以下示例与自己展开对话,然后让学生两人一组仿照对话进行练习。
T:Where did you go over the winter holiday
S1:I went to Sanya.
T:How did you go there
S1:By plane.
T:What did you do there
S1:I went swimming.
教师先通过歌曲活跃课堂气氛,然后通过对话复习上一课时所学内容,及时巩固所学知识,并为新课的学习做铺垫。
Step 2:Presentation
1.Let’s learn
·教材意图
本环节通过埃米与吴斌斌谈论假期的对话以及吴斌斌假期活动的图片呈现了本课时重要词汇ate fresh food、went swimming、took pictures以及bought gifts,让学生感受其词形及词义。
·教学建议
(1)教师拿出相机做出拍照的动作,问学生:What do I do?学生回答:Take pictures.教师说:Yes,I took many pictures over the holiday.教师板书短语took pictures并教读,提醒学生took是take的过去式,并将这两个单词结合起来教读。教师还可提示学生,该短语中的pictures还可换成photos。
(2)教师用多媒体呈现吴斌斌的图片,与学生展开对话,如:
T:Who is he
Ss:He is Wu Binbin.
T:Yes,he also took many pictures over the holiday.What else did he do?Let’s have a look.
教师呈现Let’s learn中的第一幅图片,问学生:What did he do?学生可用中文回答:吃饭。教师说:Yes,he ate fresh food.然后板书短语ate fresh food并教读,提示学生ate是eat的过去式,接着将两个单词结合起来教读。
(3)教师用类似的方法带领学生学习短语:went swimming,bought gifts。
(4)教师播放录音,学生模仿其语音、语调跟读。
(5)教师让学生仿照埃米和吴斌斌的对话编写新的对话,如:
S1:How was your summer holiday
S2:It was great.I ate fresh food and bought gifts for my family.
(6)教师请几组学生上台展示自己的对话,对表现优异的学生给予奖励。
2.Look and say
·教材意图
本环节通过描述男孩的假期生活培养学生的语言表达能力,同时对Let’s learn所学重点词汇进行复习巩固。
·教学建议
(1)教师用多媒体呈现四幅教材插图,说:This is Andy.What did he do last summer vacation?然后让学生根据图片说一说安迪暑假做了什么。在说到第四幅图片时,教师让学生思考为什么安迪会问吴斌斌“How much is this?”。
(2)教师让学生两人一组互相描述安迪的假期生活。
参考句型:Last summer holiday,Andy ate...
He took pictures of...
He went...
He bought...
He saw Robin.He wanted to...But Robin is not for sale.
(3)教师请几名学生向大家描述安迪的假期生活并给予评价。
Step 3:Practice
1.你比我猜
教师请两名学生上台,给其中一名学生一张写有动词短语的小纸条,然后让该学生根据小纸条上的内容表演动作,另一名学生猜出动词短语。教师也可同时请两组学生上台,看哪一组在规定的时间内猜出的动词短语最多。
2.句子接龙
教师按照座位把每一列学生分为一组,然后教师用句子“What did you do last summer holiday?”向每列的第一名学生提问,第一名学生回答后,继续向第二名学生提问。第二名学生重复第一名学生的答案并加上自己的答案,回答完毕后,继续问第三名学生。以此类推,看哪一组的回答正确且用时最短。示例如下:
T:What did you do last summer holiday
S1:I ate fresh food.What did you do last summer holiday
S2:I ate fresh food and went swimming.What did you do last summer holiday
S3:I ate fresh food,went swimming and took pictures.What did you do last summer holiday
S4:...
Step 4:Consolidation and extension
1.教师示范书写四会单词,学生仿写。
2.学生抄写四个重点短语各五遍。
3.完成配套的课时作业。

本课时主要学习词汇。在热身阶段,教师先通过歌曲激发学生的学习兴趣,并通过问答练习巩固已学知识,为新课的学习做好准备。
在新课学习阶段,教师通过实物、动作以及图片一一引出本课时将要学习的词汇,不仅可以激发学生的好奇心,还能加深学生对生词的理解。将动词原形与过去式对比起来进行教学,让学生更直观地感知动词原形及其对应的过去式,加深学生的印象。最后教师让学生仿照教材编写新的对话并描述安迪的假期生活,把所学词汇运用到语言交流中,不仅巩固了所学知识,也锻炼了学生的语言交际能力。
在练习巩固阶段,教师通过游戏和活动再次对本课时重点知识进行了巩固,让学生在玩乐中学习知识,大大提高了学生对英语的学习兴趣,真正做到了寓教于乐。
