Period 6 Part C Story time
本课时只有C部分的Story time 一个环节。主要通过佐姆梦见自己去月球旅游的故事复习巩固本单元重要句型及词汇,增加学生的语言输入。
知识目标
1.能够理解故事内容;
2.能够朗读并分角色表演故事。
能力目标
1.培养学生的阅读理解能力;
2.培养学生的表演能力。
情感目标
1.培养学生对英语的兴趣,增强学生学好英语的信心;
2.培养学生团结互助的合作精神。
教学重点
能够理解故事内容。
教师采用分层教学法,设置分层问题,引导学生逐步理解故事内容,以突破重点。
教学难点
能够朗读并分角色表演故事。
教师先播放录音,学生模仿其语音、语调跟读;然后学生分小组表演故事,组员之间互相提建议,优化表演。
多媒体课件、人物头饰。
Step 1:Warm up
1.教师播放本单元歌曲Tell me about your holiday,师生一起大声跟唱。
2.教师参照以下示例与学生展开日常对话:
T:I went to Beijing last winter holiday.Where did you go
S1:I went to Sanya.
S2:I went to Chengdu.
S3:I went to Shanghai.
...
T:Did you have a nice trip
Ss:Yes.
T:Zoom had an unusual trip.Where did he go?Let’s have a look.
教师先通过歌曲吸引学生的注意力,活跃课堂气氛;然后通过日常对话引出本课时内容,为新课的学习做好准备。
Step 2:Presentation
Story time
·教材意图
本课时通过佐姆梦见自己去月球旅游的故事复习重点句型:How was...?Where did you go?How did you go there?What did you do?Did you...?同时也复习了本单元有关假期活动的词汇。
·教学建议
(1)教师用多媒体播放故事动画,让学生初步感知故事内容。
(2)教师采用分层教学法,带领学生学习故事内容:
①教师让学生默读课文,并提出第一层次问题:
a.How was Zoom’s holiday
b.Where did he go
c.How did he go there
d.What did he see
教师请几名学生回答问题,如:
T:How was Zoom’s holiday
S1:It was fun.
T:Where did he go
S2:He went to the moon.
T:Yes,he went to the moon.He can’t believe it.
(教师简单讲解believe的意思并教读)
T:How did he go there
S3:By spaceship.
(教师简单讲解spaceship并采用拆分法教读)
T:What did he see
S4:He saw Chang’e,the rabbit and the tree.
(教师呈现嫦娥奔月的图片并拓展嫦娥奔月的故事)
②教师让学生再次阅读课文,提出第二层次问题:
a.Did he take any pictures
b.If he did,where did he put the pictures?If he didn’t,why
教师请两名学生回答问题,如:
T:Did he take any pictures
S1:No.
T:Why
S2:Because it was a dream.
(教师教读dream并讲解其意思)
(3)教师用多媒体呈现打乱顺序的故事图片,然后播放录音,学生给图片排序。
(4)教师播放录音,学生模仿其语音、语调跟读,然后两人一组分角色朗读故事。
Step 3:Practice
谁是最佳演员
(1)教师把全班分成几个大组,排练故事,表演的学生要尽量发挥自己的表演天赋,其他学生提出建议,优化表演。
(2)教师拿出准备好的人物头饰,每组依次戴上头饰表演故事,最后全班学生举手投票选出最佳演员。
Step 4:Consolidation and extension
1.回家把Story time的故事讲给家长听。
2.完成配套的课时作业。

本课时主要为故事教学。故事教学重点在于让学生理解故事内容并自如地表演故事,因此教师并没有过多纠结于词句的教学,只是简单讲解其意思。教师采用了分层教学法,分散教学难点,让学生逐步理解故事内容,然后再通过给图片排序帮助学生理清整个故事的脉络,取得了良好的教学效果。最后的表演环节满足了学生的表演欲,提升了他们对英语课堂的兴趣,同时培养了学生团结互助的合作精神。
