1. To make all the students have the ability to understand the whole story.
2. To make all the students know the meaning of the following words:
clean, dirty, bins, factory, rubbish, smoke.

1. To make all the students have the ability to read the whole story.
2. To make all the students have the ability to answer some questions
about the story.
3. To make all the students have the ability to act the dialogue.
4. To make most students talk more about the theme of this story with two
following questions: What makes ... dirty What can we do to keep ...

教后记：
本单元是有关环境保护的话题，主要学习环境污染产生的原因What makes our dirty 及如何进行环境保护What can we do to keep our city clean 六年级的学生对环保这个话题并不陌生。他们已经通过各种渠道，如其它课程、媒体等对污染原因和环保的重要性、方法都有所了解。关键是他们通过本单元的学习学会如何用英文表达，也使环保意识进一步得以增强。纵观整堂课，在学生层面上，我缺乏大胆质疑，高年级的课堂应该是合作与质疑相结合的整体；在板书设计上，虽然自认为板书清晰且美观，但是却缺少了手写。在对话的过程中注意兼顾不同层次的学生，让他们熟悉课文中的语句。对课文中的重点单词应反复训练，确保学生的发音清晰、正确。对文本中的重点句子可反复阐述，在讲解过程中注意听说读写的全部应用。在最后写proposal部分，学生对proposal的格式不太熟悉，我应该在写之前进行一个铺垫。其中有一个单词sincerely的读音，几组学生在反馈时有很大问题。我应该在编写这个proposal的时候注意将一些难词避开。每组学生的proposal还可以在课后互相传阅，或者以保护城市环境为主题做一期微信活动将他们的proposal展示出来。
