四、Teaching procedures 教学过程
Step 1 Lead- in
1. A guessing game.
T: Let’s enjoy the music. Listen !What’s the song about
S: It’s Christmas/Chinese New Year.
T: What are you going to do at /on … / What else are you going to do
S: I’m going to….
【设计意图】:通过联想猜节日的游戏开篇活跃课堂气氛,复习巩固了主要节日和跟节日有关的重点词组,为后面的学习做好铺垫。
Step2 Review the story
1.Show the plan for this class.
T: You’re going to do a lot of interesting things.These are your plans for Chinese New Year. You make a good plan.Plan is very important and meaningful in our life.

【设计意图】:通过回忆Story time、复述课文提高学生的英语表达能力,并为学习Grammar time作准备。
Step 3 Grammar time
1. Read and summarize
T:This is Anna's plan for Chinese New Year. I think it’s a good plan.
From her email,what can you find
S: She uses ‘be going to ’.
T: How do we use ‘be going to ’ to make a plan
T: Now would you like to read the sentences and find out the rules of future tense: be going to do sth (通过呈现板书帮助学生总结一般将来时的用法)
Tip:
⑴“be going to”,在句中翻译成“将要,将会”。后面通常需要跟表示将来时间的词。如next week, last year, yesterday, now, tomorrow, this weekend, next month, next year, this Sunday等
(2)一般将来时表示在将来某一时间将要发生的动作或存在的状态,也可表示将来某一段时间内经常发生的动作或存在的状态。
(3)结构:be going to + 动词原形
【设计意图】:通过练习,让学生自行总结语法知识,有利于学生更好地记忆知识点。

由问句选出相应的答句,be动词根据主语的不同会做出相应的改变。
【设计意图】:新教材的语法环节提倡通过书上的文本知识来教学语法,而不是为了教语法而出示语法。先让学生自己发现规律,找到规律并总结规律,真正体现了以学生为主体的教学理念。

Step 5 Expansion

【设计意图】:让学生回归到自己的生活实际,了解不同中国传统节日的习俗,从而能够谈谈自己的节日打算,也通过鼓励学生向介绍者提问来促进学生的互动性和听的专注度。

【设计意图】:提醒学生写自己的计划时注意用be going to的结构;学生写邮件介绍自己的节日计划;教师邀请几位学生朗读他们的邮件,与同学分享他们的计划,并鼓励其他学生做出评价。
Step 7 Homework
1. Read Grammar time and use “am/is/are going to” correctly.
2. Talk about your plan for Chinese New Year with your family.
3.Surf the Internet and know more about different festivals around the world.
