一、教材分析(简要说明课题来源、学习内容、知识结构图以及学习内容的重要性)
Gap-filling is an important part in Reading Comprehension in Gaokao, taking up 10 scores in 40-score Reading Comprehension, which plays an important role in getting more than 30 scores in the Reading Comprehension. In this section, Ss are asked to choose 5 among 7 options to fill in the blanks. There are 2 spare options. In this course, Ss aim to understand the characteristics of gap-filling and to grasp some strategies of doing gap-filling and apply the skills to it.

1.Knowledge aim: Let students understand the characteristics of gap-filling. 2. Ability aims: 1.Let students grasp some strategies of doing gap-filling. 2.Enable students to use these skills while doing gap-filling. 3. Emotion aim: Let students attach more importance to gap-filling. Teaching important: Train the students the skills of gap-filling and improve their abilities of reading. Teaching difficulties: How to let the students mater the skills of gap-filling and improve their abilities of learning English.
三、学习者特征分析(学生对预备知识的掌握了解情况,学生在新课的学习方法的掌握情况,如何设计预习)
Ss in Senior 2 are going through the 1st-round review during which they are asked to review all of language points. Though the students are in Senior 2, they are not very proficient in English but very hardworking. Some useful words must be practiced again so that the students can be more familiar with them. Hence, some subjects including gap-filling will be theoretically presented again to help Ss get the hang of them.

1.Leading-in;---- To arouse students’ interest in the topic: Gap-filling. 2.Presentation; ---- To enable the students to know more about characteristics of gap-filling ; 3.Practice; ---- To help students practice more activities of gap-filling. 4.Production; ---- To make students experience real practice in Gaokao . 5.Summary; ---- To make a summary about gap-filling ; Homework; ---- To consolidate what they learned in class.

Task doing: To make students do some targeted practice and teacher analysis the answers to the students. Ss will be asked to find the answer to each question, following the teacher’s tips. Task 1: Structure Task 2: Key words:the clue of the Synonyms,the clue of the antonym,the clue of the pronoun,the clue of the words have the same root. Task3:Logical relationship. . To help students practice more about gap-filling and know more skills.
Practice gap-filling of 2021 Gaokao. 1.Several students will be asked to explain his/her answer to all the students. 2.Individual work (7min) 3.Group work (5min): discuss and exchange their ideas with other students One student in one certain group will be asked to explain one proper answer “Practice makes perfect” To help students attain more scores in Gaokao.
