S: Yes ,I did. / No, I didn’t.
Step2: Presentation（1）
1.Watch a video（引出clean, beautiful, messy 和dirty四个词）
T:Boys and girls, now let’s watch some pictures about Nanjing, OK (观看关于南京美景的一段小视频)
Ss: OK.
T: What do you think of Nanjing
Ss: It’s c_____ and b________.(引导学生说出It’s clean and beautiful)
T:Now let’s look at another pictures of our city. Are they clean and beautiful
Ss: No, they are ______and______.(引导学生说出messy and dirty,并进行教授)
【设计意图：通过几张城市美、脏图片的对比引出城市污染严重这一话题，为下一步学习进行铺垫。】
2.Look and choose:
T:What makes our city dirty (课件出示四幅图片：clouds, smoke, rain ,rubbish)
Ss: Smoke and rubbish .
3.Think over:
T:What will the dirty city take to us (引出：deaths, diseases, pollution等词)
T:So what should we do
T&Ss: We should keep our city clean.(点题：Unit6 Keep our city clean)
Step3: Presentation（2）
1.Watch and answer:
T:(呈现课文人物图片) Look ,Miss Li and her students are talking about their city, too. Is their city clean
Ss: No ,it isn’t.
T:What makes the city dirty Please watch the cartoon and Watch the cartoon and find the four reasons.(听读前半段)
T: Check the answers:
What makes the city dirty
Smoke from cars makes the city dirty.
Black smoke from factories makes the air dirty.

Rubbish makes the streets messy and dirty.

2.Read and underline:
T:What can we do to keep the city clean 默读课文P59并划出答案。
【设计意图：通过问题让学生从课文中找出答案，然后精读课文，获取细节信息。】

We can walk to school.

move some factories away from our city

Choose one way you like to read: Read after one ;Read in roles; Read together

Work in groups, use your own words to retell.(小组合作，利用板书，用自己的语言复述)

use less plastic (reusable shopping bags 环保购物袋)
park bikes/ cars at the right places (shared bicycles共享单车)
2.Watch a video and answer:
(1) What things are mainly mentioned in the video （A tissue）
视频中主要出现的是什么物品？
(2 )Before we throw it away what can we do
在我们把这样东西扔掉之前我们可以做什么？（wipe 擦掉，wrap包裹）
(3) What word do we use to call this action （Recycle）
这样的行为我们用英语称作什么？
3.PPT呈现垃圾分类的几种形式、名称及相应的标志：
Recyclable waste 可回收物 Kitchen waste厨余垃圾
