Unit 5 Signs
第一课时（Story time）教案
教学内容：
Story time
二、教学目标：
1. 知识目标
1) 能正确地听、说、读、写单词和词组sign，careful，mean，shopping centre。
2) 能听懂、会说、会读litter，take， restaurant，someone， smoke， smell，go in。
3) 能灵活运用日常交际用语“What does it mean？It means...No littering /parking/ smoking/eating or drinking. Danger! Wet floor.” 与他人进行交流。
2. 技能目标
能够运用所学日常交际用语,向他人询问和介绍公共标志的意义。
3. 情感态度目标
培养学生积极参与，乐于表达的学习情感，并结合社会公德，当看到他人做与公共标志所指不符的事情时, 能及时进行劝说和制止。
教学重点
在教师设计的教学活动的引导下能够整体理解语篇,提高学生的阅读能力。
能在现实生活中比较自如地运用本单元日常交际用语与他人进行日常交流。
教学难点
较熟练地掌握公共标志的英文表达。
模仿Story time，介绍部分公共标志的意义。
教学准备
PPT ，卡纸，多媒体课件
六、教学过程
Step1. Warm up
Greetings:Boys and girls,nice to see you again. Do you want to play a game
If it is right, you should say “yeah,yeah,yeah”.If it is wrong, you should say “No, no,no”.
T:Do you think these pictures beautiful
Ss:No.
T: Do you know what are these They are signs. Follow me”signs”. Different signs mean different things.They can tell us what we can do and what we can’t do,right
T: Where can we see the signs
Teach the two words”shopping centre”,”restaurant”
Step 2. Presentation
T:1).How many signs did they see 2)What are they
Watch the cartoon and choose the right answers.
Let’s learn the new words.
Q:Where did they see the signs Open your books, let’s read and match.You all did a good job.
T:What does it mean Do you know You can read silently and underline the meanings of the signs, you can talk about it in pairs.
Let’s read after the tape, pay attention to your pronunciation and intonation.
Read the story carefully and choose the right answers.
