学情介绍
本节课的教学对象是小学六年级,他们已有三年多的英语学习经历,对新语言的好奇往往激起他们对英语学习的兴趣。他们活泼好动,充满激情,喜欢音乐和表演,本节课讲的是保持城市环境,这个话题与学生的生活息息相关,学生所居住的环境,包括学校的环境,学生能很快进入到学习的状态的中去,学会如何解决环境的污染问题,从他们自身做起,从小事做起,共同地保护好我们的家园。

教学过程
活动1:lead-in
1:greetings.
T: hello,boys and girls. Nice to meet you.
2:sing a song《two little blackbirds》
3:ask students some questions.
What birds do you know
Can you see any birds near your home
Where can you see many birds
(设计意图:学生通过唱歌,一方面活跃了课堂的气氛,一方面为下文的环境保护学习做好了铺垫,同时提高学生英语学习的兴趣。)
活动2:presentation
1:教师呈现四幅城市图片,问学生:what city do the birds like
学生根据图片:选出city A and city B.
T: why do the birds like a and b
S: because they are clean.(教授新词clean)
T: why do not the birds like c and d
S:because they are dirty. (教授新词dirty)
(设计意图:通过小鸟喜欢哪个城市,来引出新词clean 和dirty,并教授这两个新词。)
2:T:Do the birds like xu zhou I have some pictures for you.教师展示三幅徐州景点的图片:peng zu park彭祖公园,hero of the huai hai campaign memorial tower,淮海战役英雄纪念塔,yun long park云龙公园。
通过向学生询问鸟儿是否喜欢徐州,引出xu zhou is a beautiful and clean city,进而引出课题:keep our city clean.
设计意图:通过学生熟悉的三个徐州景点,引出课题keep our city clean,自然的引起,便于学生接受。
活动3:presentation and practice
1:观看四幅图片,询问学生:do the birds like these places 学生自然会回答:no,they don’t.
然后让学生描绘他们所看的,从而引出本课文章中的短语:smoke from car、black smoke from factories、a lot of rubbish。接着教师提出一个问题:what makes the city dirty 这就自然的过渡到下面几幅图片:
Black smoke from factories makes the dirty too./Rubbish makes the streets messy and dirty.
There is rubbish in the water and the fish are dead.(让学生朗读,并全班齐读,进而了解引起城市脏乱的原因。)
2:T:do you know who she is 教师出示李老师照片,学生很容易就认出来。
T:Miss li and her students are talking about the city too. At first, watch the cartoon, and then answer my questions.(播放视频)
No1 is the city clean / no2 what makes the city dirty
(第一个问题看完后全班直接回答,第二个问题个别回答)
3:学生逐句跟读第一部分的课文,强调单词的发音和语调。
活动4:consolidation
1:T:good, now it is time for your challenge.挑战 Ask and answer in Paris.两人一组问答。One student asks and one student answers.please ready go.(学生同位对话练习,两组,然后找一个学生在讲台上提问,大家回答,who can come here to ask questions )
2:T:boys and girls, rubbish, smoke, dead fish can make our city dirty and messy, so what can we do to keep our city clean now read it by yourselves.学生自由朗读。
3:brain storming.what can we do to keep our city clean There are some things we can and we can’t. Read them by yourselves.
4:T:ok,take your paper ,there is another challenge for you. Please do it quickly.
5:read the text with any way they like.S:小组表演朗读课文,分角色朗读。扮演老师的学生到讲台上表演,其他同学可以坐在位置上表演。两组。
6:T: now boys and girls,just now we talked about how to keep our city clean but now how to keep our school clean Please talk in groups.
S:学生小组讨论如何保持学校干净整洁。
S:we can put rubbish in the bin. We can sweep the floor. We can clean the desks and chairs. We can clean the windows. We can clean the blackboards.we can plant more trees and flowers. We can’t throw rubbish on the floor. We can clean the doors.一个小组一人一句。两组。
7:展示几幅图片:一副是杭州西湖以前的图片,干净又美丽。另几幅是现在杭州西湖的样子,又脏又臭,,让学生讨论:what can we do to keep the west lake clean 学生可以把自己的想法写下来。
8:观看一个有关环保歌曲的视频,让学生说说自己的想法。
S: we can plant more trees and flowers.

S: we can make the children smile again and again.
S:we can keep the beautiful home together.
S: we can’t cut down many trees.
S: we want to have the green earth.
S:we should keep the earth clean,so that people are not ill early.
S:we have the only earth,so we should love our earth.
S:save the earth is to save our further.可以写在纸上,到前面说出来。
活动5:conclusion
T:boys and girls,every year on the fifth of June is the world environmental day,so we should keep our city clean and beautiful every day,because better city,better life.
