一、设计理念(期待篇)
根据本课的特点,我对本课的重难点知识的呈现做了合理的编排与分配。通过男生女生比赛、歌谣等活动最大限度地引起学生的好奇,激发学生的学习动机;通过将sound time和culture time中的内容编入cartoon time中,简明扼要地将本课脉络呈现于学生眼前;通过不同的任务,加强了知识的应用与迁移。本教案的设计初衷在于引导学生能够积极主动地开口说英语,继而进行文本创编,在切实减轻学生负担的同时有效培养学生的语言运用能力。对提高新教材文本教学效率以及学生语言综合能力的提高有着重要意义。
二、教学目标
1.知识目标:
(1)通过“Read and circle ”和 “Follow the tape”环节,让学生掌握以下四会、三会内容:with,yesterday,look out of , go on , spell , make a sentence with;
(2)通过“Help Bobby”环节掌握字母组合er在单词中的发音;
(3)了解中外国家部分发明成果,关注世界文化的发展和变化。
2.技能目标:
(1)通过具体操作演示,培养学生的阅读策略及做批注的习惯。
(3)通过小组讨论交流汇报展示的方式,引导学生共同学习的合作能力。
(4)通过引导学生依照故事对话范例框架,发挥想象设计故事中的对话(文本创编)并进行有感情的表演的能力
3.情感态度目标:
(1)培养学生积极的学习情感和良好的语音习惯。
(2)通过观看过去和现在不同的环境图片,让学生感受科技带来的环境污染,激发他们努力学习的动力。
三、教学重点
1.能读准含有er的单词,并能归纳总结。
2.能在教师设计的教学活动引领下整体理解语篇,提高阅读能力。
四、教学难点
1.在理解文本的基础上,复述对话内容。

五、教学准备
1.教具准备:课件、跟读软件纳米盒,用于PK的头饰。
2.板书准备:课前在黑板上写好课题:Unit4 Then and now(sound, culture and cartoon)
六、教学过程(实践篇)
Step 1 Greetings and free talk:
T: Good morning , boys and girls.
Ss:Good morning , Miss Cao.
T: What day is it today
Ss:It’s Monday.
T: What’s the weather like today
Ss:It’s Monday.
(意图:该部分为每节英语课的常规问候,即可帮助高年级的学生快速进入英语氛围。)
Step 2 Warm up and lead in :
1. Let’s talk:
T:What date is it today
S1:It is the 17th of October.
T: What date was it yesterday (Yesterday 为本课生词,在结合实际的freetalk中先给学生呈现)
T: Did you come to school yesterday
Ss:No we don’t.
2.T:But today we are at school and having an English lesson now. Let’s study English hard ,OK Look, here’s a competition for you ,let’s PK,OK

Step 3 Presentation
1.T:For Bobby and Sam, they also learning English at school.Miss Fox gets angry. Why Let’s listen first.
T:Do you know the answer
S1:Because Bobby is looking out of the window.
T:Good.Any other reasons
S2:Because Bobby and Sam are talking.
T: Yes,they didn’t listen carefully.
2.Read ,circle and find.(自读课文,找出新单词)
go on ,still, make a sentence with, wait for ,answer
3.Listen and repeat.(Tip: Listen carefully and try to imitate the pronunciation and the tone.仔细听并跟读,注意模仿录音中的语音语调。)

7.Listen and answer: Who invented the aeroplane and the train
(PPT呈现扩展知识:世界上第一架飞机的发明者是美国的莱特兄弟: 1903年12月17日,美国的威尔伯·莱特和奥维尔·莱特兄弟俩设计制造的“飞行者”号飞机在卡罗来纳州的基蒂霍克试飞成功,这是世界上公认的第一架飞上天空的可操纵载人动力飞机。世界上第一列商用火车的发明者是英国的斯帝芬森,英国工程师,铁路机车的发明家。)

Read the dialogue with expression and try to recite it.(有感情地朗读卡通对话,并试着背它。)
2. Surf the Internet and find out some stories about inventions.(上网浏览并找出一些其他的发明故事。)

八、教学反思(反思篇)
本课时为综合版块的教学(Sound,culture and cartoon),卡通部分讲述的是Bobby 和 Sam 在英语语堂上聊天引发的故事;语音部分则呈现的是字母组合er在单词中的发音;文化版块呈现的世界上最早的飞机和火车。为了将这三个毫无关联的版块有机地融合在一课时中,我设置了以下教学流程:由Free talk展开与学生的对语,通过We are having an English lesson.和卡通版块中的故事建立联系,在呈现完了卡通部分的教学后,PPT出示Bobby被提问读句子的图片,继而呈现语音版块中句子,请学生朗读并总结发音规律;PPT呈现Bobby,Sam聊天的图片,让学生猜测:What did they talk about 然后揭示答案:他们讨论的是一本关于伟大发明的书,自然过渡到文化时间。
整个教学过程流畅自然,但仍有许多不足之处:在呈现完卡通时间的教学内容后,应让学生小组内表演以巩固所学内容,而不是匆匆过渡到下一环节。
