1.祈使句
祈使句用来表达命令、劝告、请求等内容,常省略主语you,句子常以动词原形开头(也可以在前面加please),否定形式为:Don't+动词原形。如:

2.加法运算的表达
表示“几加几等于几”的时候,“加”可以用and或者plus表示,“等于”用is表示,如:One and one is two./ One plus one is two.1+1=2。
如果要提问“几加几等于多少”,用what提问。

当我们要问今天或明天是星期几时,常用句型“What day is it today / tomorrow?”,回答时,常用“It is … today / tomorrow.” 或“Today / Tomorrow is …”。
【注意】 星期名称的首字母要大写,前面不加冠词。

2.What's the weather like in London in autumn?
伦敦的秋天天气怎么样?
(1)当我们想问天气怎么样的时候,常用句型“What's the weather like?”或者“How is the weather?”,回答天气如何的时候,常用“It's+adj.(表达天气的形容词)”。

(3)季节名称spring,summer,autumn,winter在句中不用大写,前面一般不加冠词,常与介词in搭配。

一、字母、音素和音标
英语有26个字母,Aa,Ee,Ii,Oo,Uu为元音字母,其余为辅音字母,其中Yy,Ww为半元音、半辅音。单词是由字母构成的。
音素是语音的最小单位,英语中共有48个音素,其中20个元音,28个辅音。
音标是记录音素的符号,是词的语音标记,常用[ ]或∥来表示,如[p g]或/p g/。

三、音节的概念
1.音节的构成
在英语中一个元音(加上元音前面的辅音)构成一个音节,如[ge t](一个音节)、 ['le di](两个音节);个别辅音[l]、[n]、[m]也可以和前面的辅音一起构成一个音节,如['l tl]、['l sn](两个音节)。[klɑ s] 这里有三个辅音和一个元音,但我们只能说是一个音节。音节数量由元音音素决定。有三个或三个以上音节的单词通常称为多音节词。

2.重读音节
单词中发音响亮的音节称为重读音节。如果一个单词只有一个音节,这个音节一定是重读音节,不用标记,如[ge t];一个单词有两个或两个以上的音节时,用“'”来标识重读音节,如['le di],有些多音节词有重读音节“'”和次重读音节“ ”,如[ e 'ti n],['bɑ sk t b l]。

3.开音节
(1)以发音的元音字母结尾的音节,如:be,he,me。
(2)以辅音字母(r除外)+不发音的e结尾的音节,如:make,like。
在重读的开音节中元音字母按字母名称读音。
4.闭音节
以一个或几个辅音字母(r 除外)结尾而中间只有一个元音字母的音节,称为闭音节。如:map,desk,is。
在重读闭音节中元音字母不是发它本身的字母音,而是发短元音。

六、句子的朗读技巧
1.重读单词:实词(名词、动词、形容词、副词、数词等)在句中要重读,虚词(冠词、连词、介词等)在句中要弱读,代词在强调的时候要重读。如:
My 'mother is a 'doctor.
2.连读:在同一个意群中,前面单词结尾的辅音可以和后面单词开头的元音连起来读。

3.意群与停顿:一个句子可以按照意义和语法结构分成几个部分,每一个部分就是一个意群。为使表达清楚,人们在说话或朗读时需要根据意群来正确停顿,不能随意停顿。
如:He doesn't go to school today∥because he is ill.
4.语调:英语的基本语调是升调( )和降调( )。
一般来说,陈述句、否定句、特殊疑问句用降调,一般疑问句、反意疑问句用升调,选择疑问句前升后降。

1.冠词用法
(1)a和an称作不定冠词,表示“一”的意思,后接单数可数名词,an后接以元音音素开头的单词,a后接以辅音音素开头的单词。注意:不是指元音字母和辅音字母开头的单词,而是指发音。如:
a student,a useful book,a “u”;an old book,an hour,an “s”
(2)the称作定冠词,特指已经提到的或正在提到的人或者事物,后可接可数名词单数、可数名词复数、不可数名词。如:
the man in blue 穿蓝衣服的那个人
Open the windows,please.请开窗。
The water is not clean.这水不干净。

2.can的用法
can是情态动词,表示“能,会”的意思,后只能接动词原形,否定形式为cannot / can't。如:
I can speak English but I can't speak French.
我会说英语但我不会说法语。
3.询问颜色及回答
对物体的颜色进行提问时,常用句型“What colour is / are …?”; 回答时,单数名词用“It's …”,复数名词用“They are …”。如:
— What colour is your bag? 你的包是什么颜色的?
— It's yellow.它是黄色的。
