I have a big family. We often get together at our home every Sunday. When I was 5 years old, my grandparents, parents, aunt, uncle and my cousin, Jane, would have a wonderful time playing games, swimming, relaxing and sharing stories.
On one sunny summer Sunday, Jane thought it would be funny to push me into the swimming pool we had in the garden.

Plants mostly grow in pleasant places with a lot of sunshine, but some plants can also be found in areas that do not seem good for them. All that most plants need to grow in air, sunlight and water. Humans need plants; without them, nobody would be able to live. Plants provide fuel(燃料), food, clothing, houses and medicine.
Fuel: The oldest form of fuel is wood, which can be burned to create heat for warmth and cooking. As time goes by, green plants that lived a very long time ago have formed coal(煤), oil and gas, which humans use for heating and cooking.
