Tang Jinzhi voluntarily rode a bike to the hospital while wearing a mask, hoping that he would not infect
anybody since he'd had a fever of 38C. On 10th June, 2020, Beijing was about to see the second round of
COVID-19 outbreak. Tang, a 52-year-old Beijing resident (E E), became the first confirmed case of COVID-19 at
Beijing Xinfadi Market, a huge wholesale food market. When receiving treatment, he detailed the places he'd been
to since May 30th, which included a playground, a restaurant, a forest park, a shop, a delivery site and Xinfadi
Tang lived in Beijings Xicheng district(X )and thus was called"Xicheng Uncle". He also received the title
of"the strongest brain"from Chinese netizens(ps Ee)after thoroughly recalling his whereabouts and close contacts
in the past two weeks. In Wuhan where the pandemic(]))broke out in China, people stayed at home as much
as possible to reduce(o/>)cross infection. Later, they voluntarily wore masks, queued up late at night for nucleic
acid testing, and kept social distance. In fact, residents of any city would be willing to make this kind of sacrifice to
reduce the risk of infection for people throughout China
Chinese president Xi Jinping said, "The Chinese people always have love for the family and the nation, devote
themselves wholeheartedly to public duty, believe that every man has a share of responsibility for his country. "For
Chinese residents, they recognize these qualities as well. During an interview, Wuhan resident Wang Jun said, " I
think the ordinary people are like soldiers in a battle, doing their job and guarding their posts. At that time we were
"stationed'at our own home, not to trouble those who were on the frontline in the war against the pandemic.
This might be a little hard for foreigners to understand. Some of them might ask: Why are the Chinese people
so cooperative(配合的) with the government
