二、教材分析
地球是人类的家园,她给人类提供了生存的空间和资源,使人类在这里生息繁衍。现在,全球面临资源短缺、环境污染、生态破坏这三在危机,作为地球公民,师生有责任就“保护地球”这一话题进行探讨。老师在教学过程中要紧密联系生活实际,引导学生热爱地球、保护地球。
三、学情分析
知识基础:
1.学生现有基础是什么?
在五年级下学期的学习中,学生已会运用情态动词should的用法,教师可以结合这一语言知识点设计教学活动,让学生更熟练地操练并掌握其用法;在本单元前面课时的学习中学生已会说并能拼写词汇:water,juice, cola, rice, meat, soup, milk, tea, coffee, bread honey等,结合there be句型和some, many, a lot of, any等表示数量的词,设计教学活动,使学生理好地理解不可数名词的概念和用法。
2.学生还缺什么?
1)四会和三会单词、句型的熟练掌握;
2)复述课文的能力;
3)自我评价和组员互评的意识和能力;
4)综合运用本单元Story time语言的能力;
5)拓展宣传环保主题的能力。
四、教学目标
1 能听懂、会读、会说protect, earth, save, useful, waste, reuse, energy, most, coal, wood, cut down, plastic, oil, drive, so much。
2 能听懂、会读、会说日常交际用语We use … to … We /shouldn’t …
3 通过小组合作交流,能正确地理解并能用标准的语音语调朗读文本,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。
4 让学生了解保护地球的重要性,培养学生热爱地球,保护地球的意识,了解更多保护地球的方法。
五、教学重点和难点:
对词汇和句型的理解。
通过小组合作交流,能正确地理解并朗读文本,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。
通过教师引导,能以小组合作形式,能呈现并表达有关保护地球的的倡议。
六、教学过程
Step 1 Preparation
1 Play a game: Guessing game
T show some sentences about some words. Ss try to guess out. PPT
(1) It is a kind of drink. It has no colour. We use it to clean things every day.-water
(2) It is our friend. It lives in many places. We can see it in the zoo.-animal
(3) It is useful. It helps keep the air clean. It is green.-tree

2 Watch and compare

七、板书设计Blackboard design
【设计意图】
板书是课堂教学的展示区,通过呈现本单元的重难点,有助于学生梳理本单元的知识,对学生的知识形成提供一定的线索帮助。同时板书又是课堂知识的生成区,通过思维导图形式的呈现,有助于学生的理解与表达,充分发挥学生的主体作用,增强学习英语的自信心。
