Unit 2 What a day! (Period2)
板块教学设想(Grammar time & Fun time):
Grammar time板块归纳了天气的过去时的表达和Story time 中出现的不规则动词的过去式构成。通过复习Story time,引出两个问题What was the weather like that day 和What did they do in the park 导入新授环节。让学生带着问题到Story time文本中找答案。引出天气的过去时的表达和不规则动词过去式saw、flew。让学生自主发现动词过去式不规则变化。紧接着让学生再读课文找出更多的不规则动词过去式。通过匹配小任务,让学生初步感知动词原形和动词过去式。通过多种形式的读,让学生掌握不规则动词过去式。巩固环节以两个难度递增的小短文巩固运用不规则动词过去式。并结合Fun time板块教学的make cards活动,巩固Grammar time的学习内容。

教学步骤要点:
1. Free talk and lead in
(1)T: What’s the weather like today
(2)T: What did you do last Sunday
(3)Retell the story.
(4)learn to write a diary (引导学生观察杨玲的日记,可以分成date, weather, special thing三部分)
2. Grammar time
(1) Ask and answer
According to the diary, What was the weather like
What did they do in the park
学生读课文,找出天气的相关句子读一读。让学生尝试用It was sunny 的句型表达cloudy windy rainy.
学生读课文找出公园里的两项活动。We saw some parrots, We flew kites in the park.引导学生发现动词过去式各部相同没有规则。引出不规则动词的过去式。
(2) Find more让学生再读书本找出更多不规则动词的过去式。
(3)Match the verbs with the past tense verbs通过句子及单词的形,让学生从感性上感知动词过去式完成匹配
(4)Read these words after teacher.通过多种形式读如教师领读,小组读。当小老师,小组竞赛读等多种形式,学生感知动词原形及过去式的音、形。
3. Fun time
1.Talk about the pictures.
2.Choose three pictures to make sentence like this (It was sunny. I played basketball in the playground.)
3.make cards in five kinds(Weather When Who What Where)
Choose and make some sentences.
先玩游戏,接着增加难度,同时培养学生写的能力。为本单元的作文教学打好铺垫。

通过两篇接近学生生活的小短文,让学生选词填空、用所给词的正确形式填空,两项难度递增的练习巩固本节课的难点,不规则动词过去式,学生大量的语言输入为Checkouttime 环节的语言输出做铺垫。
