【解析】
① kind of意为“有几分、有点儿”，修饰形容词，用来表示程度，相当于a little。如：The English homework is kind of / a little difficult.
词语链接
② kind作名词时，意为“种类”，常与介词
of连用，后再跟名词，此时的kind有单、
复数变化。如：

再如：
There are many kinds of clothes in the
supermarket.
③ kind作形容词时，意为“友好的、和蔼
的”。be kind to sb. 意为“对某人友好”。
如：Mary is very kind tothe new student.
