Dear Jessica,
Let me introduce myself. My name is Wang Mei. I’m twelve years old. I live with my mother and father. I have no brothers or sisters, but I have many friends. I am 1.6 meters tall. I like to ply chess. Last year, w won first place in my school. My favoruite food is noodles. I can make noodles myself!
Do you study any other languages in school I am learning English now. I want to have some more English-speaking friends. Learning English opens the world up to me. In this e-mail, I am trying to use some new words. I will teach you some words in my e you say “Ni hao.” that means, “Hello” try it!

Language Points
1. I don't have any brothers or sisters,
but I have many friends.
我没有任何的兄弟姐妹，但我有很多朋友。
在否定句中，对并列的几个人或物进行全部否定时，要用连词or，不用 and。and一般用在肯定句中。
He doesn't have a computer or a video. 他没有电脑，也没有录像机。

or其他的用法如下：
(1)在肯定句中，意为“或者；或”。
e.g.
You or your mother has to go.
你或你妈妈一定要去。
(3)在“祈使句 + or + 陈述句”的句型中，
相当于if 引导的条件句；此时，or 意为
“否则；要不然”。
Hurry up, or you will be late.
赶快，否则你会迟到的。
(2)在选择疑问句中，连接被选择的部分，意为“或者；还是”。
