and 的用法
并列连词
and 可以连接语法作用相同的词、短语或句子，表示并列关系，意为“和、并且”等。
e.g. Tom and Mary go to the park every week.
汤姆和玛丽每周都去公园。
并列连词and 的其他含义
① 表示动作或事情发生的先后关系，意为“然后，接着”。
e.g. She came in and sat down. 她进来，然后坐了下来。
② 表示补充说明，意为“而且”。
e.g. They have to make some decisions, and be soon.
他们必须作出一些决定，而且要及早作出。
③ and 常用在come，go，try 等动词后连接另一个动词，表示目的，意为“为了”。
e.g. Come and meet my good friend! 来见见我的好朋友吧！
④ 表示顺承的结果，意为“便；于是”等。
e.g. She could not find her mother and began to cry.
她找不到她的妈妈，于是开始哭了起来。

but 的用法
(重点) but 连接的两个成分可以表示转折或对比关系，意为“但是；可是”。
e.g. He is young but very experienced.

or 的用法
连词or 意为“或者”，表示选择关系。
e.g. Do you often go to school on foot or by bike
你经常步行去上学还是骑自行车去上学？
(重点) 在“祈使句＋ or ＋陈述句”句型中，or 意为“否则”，祈使句相当于一个条件句，可以和if 引导的条件状语从句进行转换。
e.g. Work hard at school, or you will fail the exam.
在学校努力学习，否则你会考试不及格。

so 的用法

因为他病了，所以没去上学。
速记小法：and 顺承和肯并；选择、否并、否则or； but 用来表转折；so 是因此表结果。
