一、教学目标
I. Language knowledge:
掌握词汇: August, September, November, seventh, July, eighth, ninth, tenth,
短语和句型:make a birthday present, on Wednesday, on August 11,make a calendar, When is your birthday My birthday is on….
II. Ability goals:
☆让学生了解更多表示生日和日期的词语;
☆让学生掌握英语中数词的用法以及基数词和对应的序数词形式。
III. Moral &Value goals
Arousing the students’ interest in learning.
Learning how to introduce the students’ or their families’ birthdays.
Experiencing the fun of learning English.
二、学情分析
本单元围绕“季节、天气和节日”这一话题展开教学。本课主要介绍的是如何询问生日。本课的话题与学生的生活息息相关,努力培养学生的自我表达能力,发挥他们的想象力、创造力,使他们的个性得到张扬,学生将对要学习的内容产生浓厚的兴趣。并且让孩子们去记住父母的生日,去感恩父母。
三、教学重难点
1.掌握与话题介绍有关的重点词汇: August, September, November, leap, seventh, July, eighth, ninth, tenth, October, eleventh, twelfth
2.短语和句型: make a birthday present, on Wednesday, on August 11, make a calendar
3.掌握以下重点句子:
① What are you doing
② I am making a birthday present for my grandfather.
③ When is his birthday
④ His birthday is on Wednesday, December 28.
⑤ My grandfather forgets his birthday every year.
⑥ Maybe I need to make a calendar for you, too.

Step 12:教学反思
反观本节课的授课视频,我真的发现了好多不足之处,说实话真的有种“不忍直视”的感觉。一句一句的去听视频里自己的口语和发音,一个一个的去看学生们的反应,一个环节一个环节的去发现前后衔接方面的问题,引发的思考有很多。其中之一就是:如若多反观几次自己的教学实录,自己的教学绝对是另外一番模样。
反思中觉得有以下三个方面的不足:1.没有很好的照顾到几个沉默的孩子们,就算是抢答环节也没有发现他们的“落寞”。2.对于作业环节的处理太过潦草,不扎实,仅是一带而过。3.月份词的学习较为扎实,但是序数词就不那么扎实了,在学生的联系中可以发现对序数词的产出部分不够精彩。
当然,也有两个方面的成功之处:1.孩子们很喜欢在游戏中获得知识、快乐和成就感,我做到了。2.我和孩子们都很喜欢最后的《父母对我们的爱》这个小视频,热泪盈眶的孩子们也很多。本课的情感态度与价值观目标得到了升华。
