PEOPLE need to be active to be healthy. Our modern lifestyle and all the conveniences(便利的事物) in our life have made us sit too much-and that’s dangerous for our health. Sitting around in front of the TV or the computer, riding in the car for even a short trip to the store and using elevators instead of stairs(楼梯) all result in physical inactivity. Physical inactivity is as dangerous to our health as smoking!
Add up your activities at least 10 minutes each time during the day. Start slowly …and build up. If you’re already doing some light activities, move up to more moderate(中等的) ones. A little is good, but more is better if you want to be healthier.
Scientists say 60 minutes of physical activity every day can improve your health. Time needed depends on effort(努力)-as you progress to moderate activities, you can cut down to 30 minutes, four days a week.

Learn How to Study
School education is very important and useful. Yet no one can learn everything from. A teacher, no matter how much he knows, he cannot teach his students everything they want to know.
A teacher should teach his students how to learn. He teaches them how to read and how to think, because much more is to be learned outside school by the students themselves.
Many scientists discovered so many important things. The reason for their successs is that they know how to study. They read books that were not taught at school. They worked hard all their lives. Wasting not a single minute. Above all, they knew how to use their brains.
As a student we are supposed to learn from them. We should listen to our teachers carefully in class and try our best to do the homework by ourselves. After class, we could do some reading, think more and do more exercise. The most important thing is to learn to use our brains.
