教学过程:
Teaching Progress:
一.Lead-in
1. 完成Grammar 和Functions部分。
2. 视频引入:视频内容为京剧表演片断和外国人观看京剧的评价
3. 观看视频后向学生提问“What are the foreigners’ main attitude toward Beijing Opera ”并告诉学生attitude是指一个人对事物的喜欢、讨厌、厌恶、不感兴趣、感兴趣等态度,为之后文章的精读任务做好铺垫。
4. 由上一个问题引入“中国文化”这一话题,并通过游戏方式来测试学生对于中国文化在这一块的词汇。游戏形式为,学生表演一个中国文化,其余学生根据其表演将该文化猜出来。学生表演完后,教师指向白板上的脸谱,并播放一小段京剧伴奏,让学生推断今天将主要介绍的中国文化,即为“京剧Beijing Opera”
(该部分设计目的在于让学生快速了解到本堂课的内容范畴为中国文化,并引出“京剧”这一主题)
二.Pre-reading
1. 为检验学生的预习作业(按照“历史、主要角色、音乐唱腔及故事来源和代表人物”四大板块查阅相关资料,了解国粹京剧),让学生分版块用英语讲述自己所查到的知识。
2. 为学生补充京剧的几大特点,特点有:
并在讲解的同时讲解课文中会出现的重点词:facial,gesture,为学生的阅读扫清障碍。 (该读前活动的设计目的在于
1.检查学生的预习情况2.为学生铺设京剧文化背景,并扫清阅读时的生词障碍)
三.While reading
1. 泛读课文,为每段总结出一个关键词。
2. 精读第一自然段,完成T or F细节查找题。

该题为易错题。原文为after 1790,容易被学生忽略。应告诉学生阅读时应对“时间”细节高度重视
(2)Sheng and Dan are Beijing Opera’s main roles. T
(3)Its stories are from Xipi and Erhuang F 西皮和二黄是京剧的两大唱腔,而不是京剧的故事来源。
(4)People make peace and they are usually happy in the end. T
3. 精读第二自然段,并完成图表(The change of people’s attitude toward Beijing Opera)
(此处需要学生对attitude有比较清晰的认识,原文中写的Beijing Opera used to be popular with old people很显然,popular with不能作为态度被填入,因此应转换为“liked”或者“loved”)
四.After reading
1. 通过完成上述表格,让学生思考“Why do people’s attitudes toward Beijing Opera change ”并进行小组讨论,对其原因进行brain storming
2. 通过学生的回答,引导学生思考,作为中国的学生,我们应该怎样让我国的文化更受欢迎。我们应该

(该环节设计目的在于

2.教外国人唱有关京剧的中文歌,可活跃课堂气氛,增加课堂趣味性以及让外国人更直接参与到中国文化了解中来)
