一.教学目标
1.知识目标:能够听、说、认读单词:computer room, music room, art room, playground.
2.能够在情景中运用下列句型:①This is my...
②Do you have a/an.. Yes, we do./No, we don’t.
③Where is the... It’s on the first/second floor.询问、描述学校教室和场所的位置。
2.技能目标:①能用本课交际句型及问句正确描述学校功能室及位置。②培养学生提问意识拓展学生思维品质。
3.情感目标:让学生感受到学校的漂亮与温馨,从而激发对学校的热爱。
二.学情分析
小学三年级起点四年级学生,学习英语兴趣浓厚,模仿力强,他们通过上册第一单元My classroom学习,已经掌握了一些简单与学校设施相关的词汇如: classroom,computer, teacher’s desk等,能够用所学知识对学校熟悉的事物进行简单描述; 在本单元A 部分他们学习了学校里一些场馆和表示楼层的单词,如:library, teachers’ office, first floor,second floor等。这些知识的学习都为新课学习奠定了基础。通过同桌互相提问,小组讨论谈论学校各个功能室的方式进行单词学习,最后达到介绍学校的文本输出。
教材分析
本部分学生学习的单词和词组是:computer room, art room, music room, playground。教材通过吴一凡向John介绍学校的场景呈现了单词的词形和意义。
学生能够能听、说、认读上述单词或词组;gym为补充学习词汇,可选学;能够在语境中正确运用这四个单词或词组来描述学校的教室或场馆及其大致位置。
教学本部分时应结合本单元前面所学到的关于学校教室、场馆的名称,引导学生用所学语言描述学校教室场馆的位置。
四.重点难点分析
1.重点:五个单词computer room, music room, art room, playground 的正确发音。
2.难点:能够在情景中介绍学校教室、场馆的名称及位置。
四.教学过程
Step1:Warm-up
1. Greetings
1) 师生互问
T: Good morning! / Nice to meet you!
Sing a song
T: What’s the song about
S: our school.
T: Which places can you find from the song
S: computer room, music room, art room, playground.
设计意图: 播放自制视频的歌曲our school ,学生看到都是自己熟悉的环境,给学生一种亲切感,让学生乐于参与到学习活动中。
Step2:presentation and practice
T: Is our school beautiful Do you like it
S: Sure.
T:Today, our friend Mike is coming to our school, he wants to visit our school. Let’s introduce our beautiful school to him.
设计意图: 通过师生带领Mike参观学校的情景导入学习,激发学生学习兴趣。
Ask and answer
T: Which place is it
S: This is a computer room.
T: Where is it
S: It’s on the second floor.
T: What’s in it
S: There are many computers in it.
T: What can you do in it
S: We can have a computer class./We can play computer games.
T: How about this computer room
S: It’s big and clean.
设计意图: 通过师生问答的方式进行学习,学生根据教师给出的句式进行单词的学习和拓展。老师引领学生进行的示范学习为后面单词的学习做好铺垫。

设计意图: 向学生抛出问题,引导学生间通过问题进行单词的学习和语言的拓展,培养学生的问题意识,拓展学生的思维品质。
Group work: look and discuss.
T: Let’s go to the third and fourth place. Four students make a group and discuss according to these questions: Where, what’s in, what can, how about.
S: students discuss and talk about: art room, playground.
设计意图: 教师通过给学生: What Where How 等关键词放开让学生以小组合作的方式进行学习,从而培养了学生的合作学习和自主学习的能力。
T: Mike is happy, and he wants to ask you some questions. Now let’s listen.( 1. Do you have a classroom 2.Do you have a library 3. Do you have a teachers' office 4.Do you have a gym 5. Do you have a canteen )

设计意图: 观看课文标准的发音视频,学生模仿跟读,培养学生的正确语音语调。

设计意图: 教师示范介绍自己理想中的学校,学生拿出自制的海报进行介绍,从单词学习到句子拓展最后达到介绍学校文本输出的教学目的。
