1a呈现了在前两课中多次提到的音乐剧The Sound of Music的故事梗概,让学生了解了这部经典的影片的大致故事情节,学习年轻活泼的女主人公Maria积极乐观的生活态度,和通过音乐表达出来的对孩子的爱心,对生活的热爱和面对困难时对理想的锲而不舍的精神。学生在阅读引人入胜的电影故事的同时自然地丰富他们的语言积累,在运用中继续学习linking verb + adjective这一结构的表达。 课后要求学生写一篇有关采访Mr. Brown关于The Sound of Music的对话,旨在培养学生乐于接受优秀的异域文化,学会对优秀影视作品的欣赏,拥有积极乐观的生活态度。 Teaching aims:

2. Master sentences expressing feelings:
Mrs. Von Trapp died, and the family were very sad. The children cried and shouted every day.

Step1 lead-in
Good morning, everyone. I’m so happy to share class with you. We’ll going to learn Unit 5 Topic1 Section C, Take it easy. We just talk about a movie . It’s a music movie. There are many wonderful songs in it. At first, let’s Enjoy one of the them “Do Re Mi”. Play the flash. What do you think of the music
-It is /sounds wonderful/ lively. (New word: lively)
Purpose: Use the song of the movie to be the beginning , it can lead students into the class easily, and arouse their interest.(利用原声电影里的歌曲导入新课,一下子就把学生带入课堂,激发了学生学习兴趣.)
Step 2 Pre-reading
1. Guessing game: Look at the posters and the words in the box to guess the main idea of the story.
Purpose: By comparing the two pictures, enable students to know about the influences of before maria comes and after she comes.(通过两幅
图的强烈对比,直观形象的表达玛丽亚到来对这个家的影响.)
2. Listen to 1a to fill in the blanks.
It’s a story about a young woman living in Austria.
Purpose: know the text firstly, at the same time I train their listening practice, It will prepare for the reading.(初步感知课文,同时训练听力.为读前作准备.)
Step 3 While-reading
1. Read 1a and answer the questions.
1) Why did Maria go to the Von Trapp family --Because she went to care for the children.
2) Why were the Von Trapp family sad --Because the mother died.
3) How did Maria cheer up the children
--She taught the children to sing lively songs and perform short,funny plays to cheer them up.
Purpose: Skim the text , know about the main idea,by answering the three questions.(略读课文,了解大意,通过三个问题设置让学生了解大意.)
2. Read 1a carefully and finish 1b.
3.Check the answers together.
Purpose: Read the text carefully, know about the text deeply, train students’ reading skills.(精读课文,逐段逐句的深研究课文,完成课文对学生的阅读
能力的培养.)

Step 4 After-reading
1. Complete the blackboard design of the story .
2. Enable students to retell the story according to the blackboard design. Purpose:通过精心设计的板书,先由老师带领完成板书,再由学生根据板书完成课文
复述,既巩固了所学内容,又提高了学生的口语表达能力.
Step5 Summary

Teaching reflections:
I divided the students into five groups to have a match, this made students become interested in the class . I used the flash to lead students to come into the movie. I also designed many different questions to care for different levels of the students. At last, I encouraged the students to be helpful and always smile at life like Maria. At the same time ,I came back to our national culture Beijing Opera to express the love to our nation. We’re proud of our motherland.
