I have just arrived back in France after a short trip to England to spend a few days with my family and to meet my niece Elsie who was born a few weeks ago.

I study at Royal Holloway University of London which is very different from Cambridge.It’s a university campus which means all the buildings are in the same place. 5  You don’t go far without seeing a bike in Cambridge.I always love visiting Cambridge as it feels like stepping back in time.

As a palace,the Tower of London was a great place to live in.As a prison,it wasn’t so nice—especially since so many prisoners lost their heads.Today tourists can explore the Tower in the United Kingdom.Here are some reasons why the Tower was and still is a cool place.
Ravens(渡鸦) are like superheroes.
Well,sort of.Legend says if the ravens that live on the Tower grounds ever leave,the Tower will fall apart.No one knows when the ravens first showed up,but Charles II took the legend so seriously that in the 1670s he gave an official order that six ravens be kept there all the time.Today there are always six.
