Section A教学设计
整体设计思路
Unit5围绕情绪话题展开。Topic3本话题在学习了如何表达、分享情绪,并针对负面情绪提出适当建议的基础上,继续学习、了解影响情绪的因素,进而培养学生调节情绪、保持好心情的能力,并形成积极乐观的心态。Section A通过以旧带新,引入新情境以及新情境下可能出现的情绪特点,进一步帮助学生树立当遇到情绪问题时,我们不仅应及时寻求帮助,同时我们还可向身边需要帮助的人伸出援手的情感态度。
本文主要围绕Kangkang帮助Michael解决情绪问题的内容展开。作为一堂听说课,本课通过大量的语言输入、跟读配音等操练形式和最后口头任务输出,旨在培养学生听和说的英语语言能力。为了更好地呈现整堂课,本课使用生活中常见情景,既吸引了学生的注意力,同时调动了学生的积极性,提高了课堂参与度。最后通过4人小组合作,帮助超级英雄处理不同的情绪问题,既紧扣了本课主线,又能使同学们得到情感上的升华。在对文本和重难点的处理上,本堂课大胆舍弃教材中原有的习题形式,对教材进行重整和创新,针对文本设计了4个涉及听、读、说、写的课堂活动,让学生全面了解和把握文本,既能够切合中考题型,又使课堂教学更加贴近学生,真正体现以学生为主体的课堂教学。在新知识的呈现上,从单词、短语、句型,到最后的文本,由易到难、层层递进,重难点突出,符合学生的认知特点。在整堂课中,引入男女生竞争机制,充分调动课堂氛围和学生积极性,在同学们的笑声和掌声中,完美地结束了本堂听说课教学。
教学背景分析
教材分析:
本节课是Unit5 Topic3的第一课时,承接先前学习内容,继续讨论如何表达情绪以及如何针对不同情绪问题,为他人提出建议,互相帮助。作为一堂听说课,本课难度适中,在学习过程中,教师不仅要通过丰富有趣的课堂活动,引导学生开口说,同时在听力活动时,也要注意对学生听前活动的指导,大胆预测,提高听力准确度。最后,通过对文本信息的学习,学生能够将所学表达运用到实际生活中,逐步提升学生的口头表达能力和口语交际能力。 学情分析:
经过一年多的学习,八年级学生的英语水平有了大幅度的提高,能够接受全英文教学并清楚理解教师课堂英文指令,尽管在口头表达上,会有一些语音和语法上的错误,但通过及时适当的课堂纠正,能达到较为满意的效果。同时,该年龄段学生,自主意识和竞争意识增强,重视自身形象,表现欲增强,因此在教学过程中,教师可以合理利用学生这一特点,设计游戏、对话、个人活动、小组合作、男女竞争等多种形式,调动学生学习积极性,增强学生的学习热情和信心。
教学设计(含设计意图)
一、教学目标
1. 知识与能力目标: (1)掌握下列词汇及短语:
test,nervous,speech,relaxed,have a test,give a speech,give speeches
(2)学习句型:
A: sb.feel/get/be...when...(表达情绪) B: You’d better/should/must...(提出建议)
2. 情感目标
(1)培养学生学会表达自身情绪情感的能力,学会寻求帮助,合理调节情绪,形成积极乐观的心态;
(2)培养学生乐于助人的品质,在同伴遇到情绪问题时能够表达关心鼓励和建议;
(3)采用游戏、对话、配音等灵活多样的授课方式,激发学习英
语的兴趣。 3. 学习策略
(1)能够清楚、大声地进行朗读并模仿; (2)培养借助图片帮助听说和阅读理解的习惯;
(3)能够通过同桌或者小组合作互动,体验合作学习乐趣。 4. 重难点分析: 教学重点:
(1)能够听、说、读、写词汇:test/nervous/speech (2)能够听、说、读、写句型:sb.feel/get/be...when... You’d better/should/must... 教学难点:如何表达情绪并给出适当建议。
二、教学过程
1. Lead-in:
Look and Say 看图说句子,复习情绪情感的表达,同时也引入生词的认识。
Competition 造句竞赛,反馈复习效果,为后面学习做好铺垫。
2、Pre- listening
Look and say 完成建议句型的复习,将之与情绪表达结合,为下文听力打好基础。
Discuss 讨论不同情景中的情感情绪,并给出建议。
3、While-listening

设计意图:
通过任务活动的开展,学生不仅能将课堂所学运用到实际处理解决问题中,而且还能培养学生的小组合作能力。以说的形式将任务讨论结果表演出来,既给了学生一个开口说英语的机会,也激发了学生的想象力和创造力。
通过生活中常遇到情绪问题的例子,希望能够告诉学生,任何人都可能遇到情绪问题,我们应当培养自己的情绪调节能力并以积极乐观的心态面对生活。
